i originally voted 'huh?' but after watching the news i do think it's politically motivated on koppels part--1) it just happens to be anniversary of bush saying major fighting has ended and 2) koppel was on air america radio bashing pres for not admitting 'mistakes' (i think they said he was on today)--but i think it's good for us to remember the war dead and this is a good way of doing it even though it might be politically motivated...

i live in lincoln (central illinois) so i miss all games on wciu which is really annoying but even more annoying is that i can hardly pick up 1000 am so i can't listen to them either and don't want to pay money for a full season of listening over the net when i'll only use it a few of times...

they both have pretty thick accents but ward's is thicker. to me he sounds like boomhower from king of the hill...

i don't know whether to laugh at this guy's ignorance or to cry...
