WhiteSox.com Article on BA
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 23, 2007 -> 03:02 AM) As of right now, Eduardo Perez is 26, Sweeney's 27, Fields 28, and then Owens falls in somewhere between 29 and 30. Damn, I've missed alot of baseball since my computer was messed up. I don't feel like a god anymore.

Trade Winds?/Good Suntimes Info
QUOTE(R.Sweeney @ Nov 12, 2006 -> 02:37 PM) Would you trade Cotts for Coco ? I love Coco, and it would fill a need but straight up? No. Also like J4life said, the Red Sox probably wouldn't do it.

Trade Winds?/Good Suntimes Info
I will just throw this out there. IMO, it will be a HUGE mistake if we trade Cotts unless we got something stellar in return.

There are alot of upsets in the NFL today but we'll see if any of them can hold on.

MLB Trades that never happened
Orioles turned down a Tejada for E. Santana, Aybar, (stud SS) and B. Wood (spect) then turned down a Oswalt, Everett, Ensberg. There was a Manny/Tejada deal but there's like a ton of Manny deals so usually, that gets turned down. They also turned down a Uribe, Count deal (supposedly) cause they also wanted Garland but KW said no way.

QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Nov 5, 2006 -> 06:24 PM) I haven't seen any yet, and for some reason that worries me more. The injury did look nasty though. Kinda Mike Brown/Cedric Benson (last season) esc. with the pile landing on his foot. He did stay in for a play with the extra point though so that gives me some hope to not expect the worst.

Jason Taylor is one of the very, very few men who can actually back up what he says. What a beast. That Ronnie Brown cat ain't bad eigher.

Sox don't want to resign Riske
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Oct 30, 2006 -> 11:24 AM) I think Riske is underrated here (not that he was that good, just that he wasn't that bad.) I agree. And I'll leave it at that.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 29, 2006 -> 10:22 PM) Im pretty sure if you put Kyle Orton as the QB we arent undefeated this season... It's not even a pretty sure. In fact it's nearly a guarantee. If Orton and Griese were back there we would not be undefeated. Rex when healthy, is a very good QB. Excellent vision, reads the plays well, puts the ball in spots where not too many QB's would think about doing, etc... The only knock I have about Grossman is if he's gonna be another Hasselback/Delhomme in terms of being an absoulute stud at home and being just average on the road. He has to step it up on the road especially after the Miami game going into 3 tough games on the road.

Agent: Buehrle Happy With Sox
QUOTE(SoxHawk1980 @ Oct 29, 2006 -> 10:00 PM) How many times have you seen a MLB player go to another team's playoff game and wear that team's hat? If you wanna get techinal, playoff games are one thing. World Series games are another. He might not ever get to see his childhood team go to the World Series ever again. If he actually went to a NLDS or a NLCS game, then I would have to agree with you, but not if it's the World Series. Damn maybe Angel fans should jump on Jered Weaver since he isn't even a fan of the Cards. What kind of a dumbass goes out in freezing weather wearin a Cards shirt under his coat, hat, gloves cheering for his brother who pitched the clincher? Trade his ass right now.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 29, 2006 -> 09:03 PM) No chance bro, the Miami Dolphins are the worst team in football. Amazing how things can change in one week. I would have said The Oakland Raiders still easily, but now.. I might have to agree. Don't know if T R U would agree though..

Detroit Tigers World Series Thread
I'll say this. The Tigers "fundamentally," are one of the worst teams I've ever seen make the World Series.

Broadway making his way to the majors
IMO, Garza is going to surprise some people next season. His stuff is just too good. I can just see him overacheiving a bit as well.
