Man, just got back from a raided party. My friend Paul threw a goin away party cause he's goin to be shipped off to the navy next week. So we were drinking, smoking etc.. when we see shadows comming from thw window. We were like holy s*** and out come narks and chicago police. (this is in hegwisch I might add) One kicked a dude I know in the nutz, and the nark used me as an example to everyone else cause I was smiling. I thought we were all gonna go to jail, but they left us off the hook. This that gonna stop us? Hell NO. I'm throwing a party on October 22nd. (which is a friday cause my golden b-day is Oct. 18th, which is a monday.) It's gonna be sweet. I learned something here, and was fortunate that my family will never know.

Ditto, but mostly because of the draft picks we got and signed. If McCarthy (along with some others) didn't emerge like they did, then I would think our farm system has been a downfall. Yes we lost some studs, but we still got some and newbies as well.

If you remember the trade back then, you'd know that the cubs desperately needed help in the pen. Garland was actually very overrated and he was "suppose" to be the next best thing. His minor league numbers were good, but he still has been average up here. Hell, we didn't know he would be average. It was still a good trade for us. Hell, the cubs traded Willis for Alfonseca and Clement cause they needed bullpen help (which fonse had a decent year at that time.) Who would have thought that Willis is the next best thing.

I would build around Ichiro, but I'll take Bonds by far for hitting and/or Santana or Oliver Perez for pitching.
