IMO, he still is, or at least he still feels like it. That was only his 4th professional game in the NFL, regardless of the year which is making him his 2nd, and its still early on in the season.

A bench player is what I see in his future thats if he joins a crappy team with alot of veterans.

I like it wite. Don't know about Uribe being an everyday SS. I would like to see us sign a Visquel/Gusman type but I can live with Uribe if Valdez pans out. EDIT: The balance of that lineup is very good FWIW. (L/R lineup)

I would love Damon. He's a good centerfielder who gets on base and hits for good average (one hellofa hitter) Having him leadoff is going to really help us next season and it makes our lineup way better. He and Rowand can be very useful on getting on ealry and letting Frank etc.. drive em in. I'd get mr. caveman in a heartbeat.
