It is honestly pretty remarkable that SJ won the draft 3 times. The fact that the Hawks won the 2nd pick on a consecutive redraw? We are the real winners facing that kind of juggernaut.

It's good. Last year was the real prize because Bedard was just so far above everyone else, but the entire draft was so strong. Celebrini is the prize but the overall draft is weaker, except on defense. But Demidov looks to be the consensus #2 guy. He is not far off from Michkov as a talent. He has the Russian factor but only 1 year left on his deal. Levshunov is a big RHD who is in the NCAA right now will also be in the mix for #2.

I really want for Kath to be good. His swing is just too pretty not to be.

NHL draft lottery is tonight. Hopefully it's a cheers to the Hawks winning the #1 pick again which would be Macklin Celebrini.
