  1. QUOTE (Quin @ Jul 8, 2017 -> 01:52 PM) Well, you've got Beer's bat. His glove however... Well, he'd fit in with our new OBP, but s*** defense philosophy.
  2. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 7, 2017 -> 10:01 AM) Not digging the moves Boston is making. It's like they could've had Cleveland by the balls, especially with their 13245 picks, and yet they completely f***ed it up.
  3. QUOTE (KnightsOnMintSt @ Jul 7, 2017 -> 09:13 AM) I feel like Brinson would all but be off the table. Brewers get: Jose Quintana White Sox get: Corey Ray, Brett Phillips, Trent Clark and Monte Harrison. Yes please.
  4. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 6, 2017 -> 08:36 PM) Kinda a ho hum night except for Adolfo Adams was very good.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 6, 2017 -> 03:05 PM) Ynoa has been stinking the joint up and is out of options. His velocity is down as well. He probably won't be claimed, and will be with the Knights shortly. Rizzo is desperate these days...
  6. Outstanding piece Matt, outstanding. Some of FS best work right there.
  7. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 5, 2017 -> 10:43 PM) That Mark Buehrle guy says otherwise He was never a top 100 guy which was caulfield's point. Mark was unbelievable but guys like him and his career are the exception, not the norm. That being said, I've always liked Guerrero. Kid has come a long way.
  8. QUOTE (beautox @ Jul 5, 2017 -> 09:59 PM) If we get a 4/5 out of him that would be huge but I could see being another typical sox pitching prospect that flys under the radar and over preforms. But if at the end of the day he becomes Jaime Garcia, I don't think anyone here is going to complain. He doesn't have quite the stuff as our top guys (although his curve is amazing) but I really like his chances. I know me and Dan liked him alot when he was drafted (hell I chose him twice as a true sleeper prospect a few and a couple years ago when he wasn't even on a top 5-10 list and that was with a weak system). I'll gladly take a poor man's Gio or a dynamite bullpen guy if starting fails him.
  9. Hope Ricky is taking notes. No excuse why this team doesn't steal enough with the speed on this club and counting.
  10. Looks like Benintendi has figured it out. That's why I laugh when people jump the gun with slow starts, especially to young players.
  11. Heyward to Boston. 4 years, 128 million. Oh, and the player Thibs and company drafted with the Bulls pick (Patton) having surgery on his foot. Out indefinitely.
  12. That attempt from Melky was hilarious. Game.. not blouses.
  13. Even Rick himself admitted he "unfortunately" gave him away in our Chuck's podcast (I believe it was his podcast, but I vehemently remember that).
  14. QUOTE (Sox-35th @ Jul 3, 2017 -> 02:18 PM) That's not Max Scherzer He didn't say this year (unless he meant to, then your right). But if he didn't mean to, Kershaw must've died and I didn't get the memo.
  15. Yurchak might become a very interesting prospect as soon as next season.
  16. Fulmer having one of his best outings in a while so far.
  17. If it's strictly for the bottom 6, I love this move. Unfortunately, I think Q won't help himself and put him in the top 6.
  18. Who would've ever thought that Aaron Judge is nearly becoming young Albert Pujols reincarnated.
  19. Pretty cool that Guerrero and Dunning hit 100 strikeouts on the nose for the season.
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 03:23 PM) Whether it's Charles Barkley to team with Hakeem and Drexler, T-mac in his prime, James Harden for nothing and now an elite PG for role players and a draft pick. Haha, those 3 were way out of their prime. Otherwise, it's a valid point.
  21. Chris Paul traded to the Rockets. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sbnation.c...rs-news-updates
  22. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 10:06 AM) ESPN 1000‏ @ESPN1000 14m14 minutes ago More Rizzo on Miggy's comments: "When you point fingers you're a selfish player. We have another catcher that throws everyone out." Wow.. Bye bye Montero.
  23. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 08:52 AM) I really love fast players that play fast. Leury had highly graded speed and never seemed to really show it. Hanson is a blur. Second fastest 2B on the bases this season. What shocked me was Tim Anderson was the second fastest SS in the same statistic. Still have no idea why Rick doesn't allow some of the guys on this team to steal more.
  24. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 07:23 AM) A douche for working slow? Lots of pitchers work slow to the plate. No, as a person from some accounts.
