  1. This was one of the best episodes of the season. I love when my brain has to wok overtime to try and connect dots.
  2. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ May 8, 2008 -> 11:29 PM) BTW, I'm making an executive decision and saying we don't need spoiler tags in this thread, unless it's a link from another site, specifically disusing episodes in the future. If you come in this thread, you need to be caught up with every episode, or your going to see something you don't like. Agreed
  3. move the island through time rather than space?
  4. If i said you lost your bearings, do you think I am calling you old?
  5. "Destiny is a fickle b****"
  6. oh hell. Richard Alpert!
  7. Given the proposed solution, Clinton would need 86% of remaining pledged delegates to win. Also, based on the MI vote, Clinton is projected to get 73 delegates with 55 left hanging in limbo. My guess is the CLintons want her to get all 73 and leave the 55 uncommitted. I think they would be 100% AGAINST even giving Obama the 55 because they dont accurately reflect the vote. So, even a 73-55 split is not ok with them.
  8. The Clinton campaign's Communications Director Howard Wolfson just said they have serious issues with the proposed solution because it does not "accurately and completely" reflect how the people of Michigan voted.
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 8, 2008 -> 11:07 AM) Who the Hell cares what a candidate does to improve their appearance? Why does this matter at all? Is John McCain a wuss because he has makeup put on to make his head look less shiny when he's appearing on TV? I am not saying that at all. Frankly i dont care. I am just saying I HAVE noticed a difference in appearance.
  10. I cant say I havent thought about potential Botax before. I think the cake her up for TV on the debates. She almost looks TOO clean during the debates compared to everyday looks.
  11. More info on MSNBC right now. This is a PROPOSED deal by the democratic party of Michigan. Nothing official from either campaign, but their seems to be good support from BOTH sides for this deal. The person from Michigan being interviewed seemed VERY optimistic this would happen soon.
  12. I think this may be a non-story. MSNBC isnt talking about it anymore and I would think this would be a MUCH bigger story if it were true. Nothing on Huffington Post, TalkingPointsMemo, or Politco.
  13. QUOTE (kapkomet @ May 8, 2008 -> 10:33 AM) But if you count the Michigan delegates, the number to reach the nomination just went up from 2,025 to ????. with MI it is 2088 with FL it is 2180.5 if my numbers are right That doesn't factor in Superdelegates from those states that I THINK dont count currently
  14. I am hoping I didnt over state this as fact. I cant find any other info on this and MSNBC has moved on to other stories. I hope it wasnt a "speculation" report and I missed the part where they said that.
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 8, 2008 -> 10:15 AM) So it changes nothing really. This is quite the joke regardless. Ten whopping delegates Hillary. Go home. I think this is part of the "peace making" between Clinton and Obama so she will drop out.
  16. Apparently it is 69-59 for Clinton. This via MSNBC, not links I have seen yet.
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 8, 2008 -> 09:47 AM) That's f***ing hilarious. Good to see he earned his $10+ million from running her campaign.
  18. We now know why the Clinton Campaign wasnt ready for "post-super tuesday"... Report: Mark Penn Thought Dem Primaries Were Winner-Take-All
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 8, 2008 -> 07:33 AM) Isn't this a bribe? It's not unusual to "support" a superdelegate with some financial backing. But the most I ever saw was FAR less then a million. Let along 20 million!
  20. Apparently Keith Olberman says he has a source he needs to check on, but Clinton is not far from pivoting and bowing out. Not in like 3-5 weeks. Like... soon. Rachel Madow also said there are "dog whistles" in Washington pointing to her leaving the race. Interesting...
  21. WOW! John Zogby: 30 in 48 hours?
  22. CBS News reports that a top Clinton advisor told her flat out that she can not win. WOnder if he has been fired yet?
  23. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 7, 2008 -> 07:21 AM) Funk is great, however I did like Dore. At least Red is going to do this until he dies! Oh crap. I switched Dore and Red in my head. DAMN! I liked Dore. Red is the one who needed to go away 5 years ago.
