  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 23, 2009 -> 04:05 PM) Yay! I've restarted the Anderson wars! Nice to meet you, Archduke.
  2. whitesox.com has Lou Brock helping Piersall and Caray.
  3. QUOTE (michelangelosmonkey @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 05:22 PM) What does Michelangelo's genius have to do with his monkey? Typically one's genius doesn't pass on to our pets. Ask Frank Thomas's cat...never learned the strike zone. Jim Thome's horse hardly ever takes walks.
  4. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 05:52 PM) Hmmmm, isn't the size of the markets in Milwaukee and Denver about the same size as Indianopolis nd Charlotte? Milwaukee has a fan base that goes to games because of baseball tradition. Denver is a huge market. They have 5 states worth of fans to choose from.
  5. Baseball is not a feasable sport for small/medium market expansion. Otherwise, Indianapolis and Charlotte would already have franchises.
  6. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 02:49 PM) Am I missing something in that Kaz Matsui thread that Knightni just brought up? I have looked it over 3 times, and I cannot find a Kalapse comment about Crede He said that he wanted to see a negative comment about Crede.
  7. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 1, 2009 -> 03:10 AM) I was just kidding around. I can honestly say that, I have never ever seen you post those words before here on Soxtalk until now.
  8. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 02:38 PM) Seriously? That's not at all what I meant and the fact that you apparently had that on the back burner is just weird. I just wanted to see what you'd say. Google search.
  9. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 02:13 PM) Show me one malicious remark aimed at Joe Crede, just one and I'll never mention his name again. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?s=...st&p=702685
  10. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 12:50 PM) Who blocked a cream pie in 2008 where it looked like Toby hurt himself because it was blocked? Was it Thome? Quentin? I bet it was Thome.
  11. The man's been "dealing with" shaving cream pies for God's sake.
  12. Poster K wishes that everyone would just shut the hell up about Crede.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 11:36 AM) Let's hope that's a long time from now. With your "smoothness" with the ladies, I have no doubt.
  14. QUOTE (bighurt4life @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 10:41 AM) I like Allen too but I still don't think he's so good that he counts double. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 10:53 AM) How dare you spell Tadahito's name incorrectly. Boy, you guys will nitpick anyone to death, huh? Can't you see that he's only a monkey who was owned by a famous mural painter?
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 19, 2009 -> 12:11 PM) How old does Greg Oden look? It's hard to tell from the IR.
  16. Psych has really been fun this season. "Tuesday the 17th" was a great episode.
  17. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Feb 19, 2009 -> 01:41 AM) Rock made me start really craving wings with this thread, so we went to a new sports bar tonight and I gave their wings a spin. Yeah, I'm going to try and get some on Friday or Saturday.

  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 17, 2009 -> 12:31 PM) Pirates extend Nate McClouth: Someone's being traded before 2011...
  21. Fred Taylor and Chris McAllister released today. Does McAllister have anything left in the tank? He's 31 but has been injured.
  22. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 03:25 PM) I heard he lost 125 pounds and is now our new leadoff hitter. I also heard that he dropped 10 years off of his birth certificate...oh wait.
  23. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 03:46 PM) Is Jessica Pregnant? Because she is not... natural, right now, and i'm not even making a fat joke. I bet that's the real secret hiding behind the "fat" stories.
