Pitcher Gavin Floyd is close to signing a one-year deal with an unknown team, Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun tweets. Encina indicates that that team is not the Orioles, who were known to be interested in Floyd. Floyd missed most of the 2013 season after having Tommy John surgery in May. I started a new workout... 1 minute Total body extensions, 1 minute burpees, 1 minute push ups and then 1 minute prisoner squats... so far it is kicking my ass. Didn't sound like that much of a workout but let me tell you it is.

I absolutely hate listening to Bears talk.. it is like having a bunch of Cubs fans talking about how awesome they are and how the championship is theirs.

I love how people think the Cubs are in better position than the Sox. Sox have a much better pitching staff and pretty young. So the Cubs have been stock piling prospects but how many times have people heard this prospect or that prospect is the next big thing and they end up being a bust.
