  1. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Feb 12, 2017 -> 09:20 AM) Legion Hoops ‏@LegionHoops 4m4 minutes ago More Bulls and 76ers are discussing a trade for Jahlil Okafor. Lame. This isn't 1993. Okafor is hot garbage by 2017 standards. He'd make a nice 6th man, I guess.
  2. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Feb 11, 2017 -> 09:29 PM) Pretty crazy OKC v. GSW game going on. A blow out that's getting emotional. Don't see much love between Durant and Westbrook. Kevin Durant is a b****. Yes, he's the second best player on earth but he's a b****. And his mom is really getting on my nerves. But I won't talk about another man's mother. Poor Russell, though. What the hell is he supposed to do? 47, 11 and 8 and you still get blown out? yeah, the turnovers are bad. But when you're a PG with a usage rate of over 40% you're gonna turn the ball over.
  3. Draymond Green might've finally clinched the DPOY (should've won in '15) with his performance last night. Gotta go back to game 3 of the '98 finals when Pippen ethered Utah for a comparable defensive performance by a non-center.
  4. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 09:54 PM) No matter how bad the Bulls drama gets...there's always the knicks Again, the Knicks have a generational talent that if he maxes out and stays healthy front offices will have to gameplan for. The Bulls have a guy, while REALLY good, is probably the 6th best player at his own position. LeBron, Durant, Kawhi, Giannis and George. I guess George and Butler is the most debatable. so at best 5th best.
  5. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 7, 2017 -> 08:27 AM) Isaiah Thomas was chosen as former Bulls second round pick. The Bulls had traded the pick to Milwaukee in the John Salmons deal. So you're saying the Bulls could've had Draymond and IT? #DOUBLEFACEPALM
  6. For the college crowd. And this means anybody who extensively follows college basketball: Fultz or Ball? And y? Thank you for your time.
  7. Everybody knows i'm pro-modern nba. But yes. The s*** Harden gets away with has to be addressed.
  8. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 31, 2017 -> 03:13 PM) People can hate LeBron if they want but he's 100 percent right here. I disagree. Chuck criticized LeBron from a basketball standpoint. If I'm LeBron, I go back at Barkley for being a fat out of shape (and i mean when he was playing), non-practicing, ringless loser. All that personal stuff was pretty wack on LeBron's part if you ask me. LeBron is being a whiny b****. He knows what's waiting for him come June and he's as shook as he's ever been.
  9. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 31, 2017 -> 03:11 PM) http://deadspin.com/dwyane-wade-is-also-si...s***-1791839210 Dayum. Barkley takin' L's from every direction.
  10. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jan 31, 2017 -> 03:03 PM) This LBJ/Wade v. Barkley feud is kind of funny. Excited to see how Barkley responds. What did Wade say? About Barkley I mean.
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 31, 2017 -> 12:13 PM) It looks like the Cavs have found the playmaker LeBron so greatly craves. Cavs to work out Kirk Hinrich Be afraid Golden State. Be VERY afraid.
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 29, 2017 -> 12:29 AM) Right now we have 3 guys in our system who could replace Sale by raw stuff, 2 of them by trades this year. On top of that, we have perhaps the best college pitching prospect since Stras already in our rotation and several other guys who could be really good. This rotation should be the best rotation in baseball in 2020 already. With no additional starters added. I am content with this starting point. I'm thinkin' 2019. #stacked Like I've said before - WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!!!
  13. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 29, 2017 -> 01:03 AM) Whether it's been Durant or maybe he just hasn't been completely healthy but I've missed the Steph show this year. Most entertaining thing in sports to me. I think it's been mostly integrating KD into the mix. You don't add a piece of that caliber without having to make some big time adjustments. The two look very comfortable together now.
  14. Steph went nuclear on the Clipps. Had them down by 50 at one point. LeBron can throw as many tantrums as he wants. Ain't a thing Cleveland is going to be able to add to close the gap between them and the Warriors.
  15. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 27, 2017 -> 08:27 PM) Who is pumped for the Sixers-Bucks 2nd rd matchup in a few years for the right to play LeBron in the ECF? Don't forget the Celtics. If they draft Fultz? Game over.
  16. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 27, 2017 -> 08:10 AM) Let's not get carried away. You're better than that. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 27, 2017 -> 08:37 AM) His shtick is to insanely overhype everything to the point of parody, but yes, that is a new low. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 27, 2017 -> 09:31 AM) Oh wow. You just put Porzingus on the same plane as MJ and LeBron. Put it down dude, put it down. Like I said, a potential generational talent. Dude is 7'3. I repeat: SEVEN THREE. He can shoot, post, put the ball on the floor and is athletic as f***. His rebounding and defense overall needs to improve. there's a reason (multiple reasons) the Knicks are practically trying to give away Carmelo. They're ready to hand the franchise over to KP right now. If KP maxes out and doesn't get hurt, GMs all around the league will have to spend entire offseasons game-planning for this man. Who do we draft? Who do we trade for? Who do we sign in FA? QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 27, 2017 -> 10:04 AM) In J4L's defense, he said potential. KP will be good but I can't see him being Dirk or anything. After Oden, Ming and to a lesser extent Bynum you have to be wary when it comes to guys that damn big and tall. Embiid is another guy you just pray holds up.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 26, 2017 -> 03:36 PM) Yeah, the Knicks are the team that the Bulls can look at and say, at least we aren't them. Um, they have KP. A potential generational talent. We don't have that.
  18. QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 26, 2017 -> 02:54 PM) The Knicks are the Bulls East in so many different ways. LOL COmplete disarray with both org's right now. Bleacher Report ‏@BleacherReport 9m9 minutes ago More Knicks have reportedly reached out to Celtics and Clippers about a trade for Carmelo Anthony. They can't even give Carmelo away. How evolved has the game become that a past his prime yet hardly finished perennial all-star has been fazed out? Iso ball on offense is out and on D you have to be able to guard multiple positions. Carmelo can't even guard one position. #facepalm
  19. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jan 23, 2017 -> 08:42 AM) Do you also laugh thinking of one star teams that Lebron lost to like Dallas and Orlando? Just curious. '09 was just a terrible matchup. Dwight at his peak and then you had not one, but two 6'10 guys in Hedo and Rashard that could shoot from deep. Yes, 2011 is and will always be the WTF moment of LeBron's career. No defense for that one. Beating a 73-win team last year and arguably the best two-way team the game has ever seen this year would overcome the '11 choke.
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 23, 2017 -> 07:22 AM) The only truism here is Jordan is the GOAT. For now. As epic as last year was for LeBron, he would have to take this juggernaut down to claim the title. Or at least share it. I look back at the teams MJ beat and start laughing. Back then you had big 2's (or big 1's if you want to talk the knicks and pacers). And lol@the benches of most of those teams. pathetic.
  21. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jan 22, 2017 -> 10:50 PM) This Cavs team matches up extremely well against the Warriors. The Warriors have no rim protection (unless you try to count Durant and draymond, which is meh). The cavs have two guys that can attack the basket and score inside with Kyrie and Lebron. Last years finals: Kyrie averaged 25 PPG in games 1-4. 30 from games 5-7. Lebron 24.75 in games 1-4 and 36.3 with no rim protection in games 5-7. This isn't difficult. Many believe that if Draymond doesn't get suspended the series ends in game 5. And this time around there's not going to be any leaving Harrison Barnes open to shoot brick after brick because Harrison Barnes is now Kevin Durant. I get what you're saying about the rim protection though it seems like JaVale Mcgee is playing well for them and he definitely offers rim protection. But i'm not about to say JaVale can be counted on in the finals. Last I checked, the warriors were #1 in defensive rating, steals, blocks, deflections, contested shots and defensive rebounding. What they lack in beef they're making up for with length and athleticism. But to be fair, LeBron and Kyrie in a 7-game series is a whole nother animal from the regular season. June is going to be so much fun.
  22. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 22, 2017 -> 01:04 PM) You really want everyone and everything to be the GOAT don't you? This June is going to determine quite a bit. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 22, 2017 -> 01:06 PM) He's taken the title of GOAT terrible poster in NBA threads on soxtalk
  23. So it must be asked now...Are the Warriors of 2017 the GOAT? They already have (and we know this coming in) the most devastating offense of all-time. I mean just check the numbers. They're all there. But I don't think anybody expected them to be this elite defensively. I don't know what's happened to KD. He's a legit DPOY candidate. Klay/Draymond are obviously elite on that end. They've got above average length and athleticism everywhere (well, except for zaza). I said it before the season started and i'll say it again. If LeBron takes down these warriors in June he's the new GOAT.
  24. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Jan 7, 2017 -> 11:01 PM) I absolutely love this signing. He's young and full of potential.
  25. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jan 7, 2017 -> 01:54 PM) There are exceptions, obviously, but they are rare. It is much more likely you have sustained success by getting a transcendent player in the top 3-5 and building through there. Magic, Mike, (Bird would have went higher and Mchale was top 3 anyway), Isaiah, Hakeem, Shaq, Duncan, Lebron, etc. All were top 3 picks. Trading with Boston could potentially give you the number 3 pick from this past draft, another top 3 pick for this years draft, the bulls would be in the lottery on their own, as well as two lottery picks next year. I doubt it happens, but that would be my preference. Well damn. We're in complete agreement for once.
