  1. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 05:32 PM) When do they ever give a s*** in LA? You're very logic is encouraging bandwagoning. Oh well, if you can't win a championship, why watch or care about any effort, game or drama that your team creates throughout. We might never win a championship with Noah at C, if you didn't take the time to appreciate the things he's done the last 2 years then I feel sorry for you and also do not care about how people should watch basketball. You know who isn't going to win a championship this year? Probably the Trailblazers, you should go to Portland boards and go yell at them for enjoying their winning season. You can enjoy/appreciate whatever the hell you want. My point is the Bulls have beaten the Heat like 10 f***ing times in the regular season since the big three formed. How is this still a big deal? When are you going to beat the Heat in the playoffs? Noah getting MVP chants and all this fist-pumping and chest-bumping and heart and passion and emotion and whatever is lame. That should happen in Toronto and Washington. Not the third largest market who had the GOAT and saw 6 rings.
  2. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 04:21 PM) Went to over 20 games in 2005 alone. Nice try troll. Please. You couldn't name half that roster without looking it up. Only true Blackhawks fans around are Krush, and that pains me to give him any props because he's annoying/arrogant as all hell, Kyyle and I think Steve. The rest of you started getting loud in 2010.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 03:41 PM) Fine. How exactly could the Bulls possibly have put together a championship roster this year with their PG getting hurt? With where they are right now, they clearly could have had a championship roster if that injury hadn't happened. If they'd done any of the deals people wanted, dumping Noah for Gasol or for Kevin Love or Aldridge or whatever else people could envision, it wouldn't have turned this Bulls team into a title contender without Rose. The only thing they could have done was trade Rose several years ago before the injuries. Hell...if they were to acquire Anthony without giving up anything of value this offseason, and then lost Rose for the year again, they're still not a title contender. Given that, I'm equally frustrated with the inability of the key player to stay healthy, but I still found today to be fun. The Lakers beat OKC with an NBDL roster. You think they give a s*** in LA? The Chicago hoops fanbase is embarrassing.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 03:41 PM) Lol. Me being born into an ohio state family from Columbus makes me a front runner? Classic. Troll so hard bro. Yeah, and you were a Blackhawks fan in 2008, right? Try again.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 03:13 PM) You are about titles. How many does OKC have? Hasn't it been longer than the Bulls for Houston? That is what champions look like? You're in denial if you think Kevin Durant isn't going to win a title in the next 2-3 years. And Houston has put together a legitimate contender basically overnight.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 03:04 PM) I will LMAO if the Heat lose in 7 in the finals and miss home court by one meaningless win. I think LeBron is the best in the game right now,but it is days like today where it is quite obvious he is no Jordan. Way too passive. Michael played every game like he had to win to save his life. For the people paying big money to watch him play, I am sure it was quite appreciated. I am sure there is someone out there that shelled out $500 or more to take their kid to see LeBron today, and they get an indifferent performance. MJ vs LeBron now? Have fun arguing with yourself. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 03:06 PM) Get off the beer cans and find yourself a therapist. If you after watching a game of basketball in which your team won can turn into a moment you want to cut yourself, something's wrong with your outlook in life. All I'm saying is the standards in Chicago should be higher. Let the Toronto Raptors act like beating the Heat in the regular season means something. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 03:09 PM) Rather be a homer than a front runner. This coming from an OSU fan. Try again.
  7. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 02:52 PM) For games that mean absolutely nothing, you sure do pay a lot of attention, and always point out how every team is better than the Bulls in these meaningless games. Everyone here knows the Bulls are short on talent, but they still win games like this. One difference between LeBron and MJ, MJ wouldn't let that happen. I just said the other day the Bulls could take the Pacers. They can beat any team in the east outside of one when it matters. And I, for one, am getting tired of that fact and don't care about these nothing regular season wins. Then I get accused of not being a basketball fan. When the Heat were hoisting their trophy last year was anybody thinking about the 27-game winning streak being snapped?
  8. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 02:32 PM) Great. These games don't mean anything. It doesn't mean anything until the playoffs start. Stop posting about the Bulls until the playoffs start. Stop watching. It doesn't matter. Stop wasting your time with the regular season. No more posts. It's a waste of your time. See, problem solved. And here come the homer reinforcements. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 02:32 PM) Wasn't only about a week ago you were praising the Heat for hitting the switch and starting to turn it on? Now they lost 3 in a row, and the losses don't matter. Or maybe they do and that is the real reason you want to cut yourself. For the Heat? They don't mean anything other than whether game 1 of the conference finals/finals is home or away. They can go into any building and win. They've proven that and then some.
  9. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 02:18 PM) I wouldn't call it cute and adorable. It was all about passion, effort, and guts today. They made all the smalls plays, locked down on defense when needed, and all around it would an amazing performance. Any Bulls fan or even casual fans would have enjoyed the game today. And here you are pooping the parade yet again, just like any other time, and not appreciating the effort put forth by these overachievers. So let me ask, do you really enjoy watching the Bulls win a champion at a game that you don't really seem to appreciate and enjoy? The Bulls can beat the Heat in the regular season. I get it! They've proven that and then some for three years now. They snapped the 27-game winning streak. They've won without Rose, Noah and Deng one time I think. Great. Is that enough for you? I get sick of seeing s*** like "f*** yeah, f*** off heat, we can't win a series, but f*** yeah we won today." It makes me want to cut myself.
  10. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 01:57 PM) If you are getting to caught up on whether they beat them playoffs or not and not enjoyed an outstanding and emotional performance like this, it really shows you are not a fan of basketball or the Bulls And in May when they bow out in 5 games again this little cute win today won't mean anything. Berstein said something the other day that made sense. Chicago probably has the dumbest fanbase in the NBA that shouldn't be dumb. We know what a champion looks like. We saw it 6 times. Forget about the Heat. Look at OKC. Look at what the Rockets have put together in like 28 seconds. That's what a champion looks like. This try-hard, adorable, cute thing the Bulls got goin' on is fine in the regular season. It was just as cute last year. But I'm about titles. I don't care about being cute and adorable. And it's sad that being cute and adorable is enough for a lot of Bulls fans.
  11. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 9, 2014 -> 01:45 PM) Such an enjoyable "f*** you" game. Love Noah. Love him talking smack at the end. Not going to beat Miami in a series but they'll make them earn it. Which is why these regular season wins mean nothing to me. I'm sick of making Miami work. Gotta beat these guys when it counts at some point. #FINDAWAYTOGETMELOSOMEf***INGHOW
  12. The defensive intensity by both teams is incredible. Obviously the talent gap between the two teams is larger than Tyra Baks' forehead. But the Heat have to work for everything.
  13. We Bulls fan just never learn. Tiger Woods will date a black girl before the Bulls land Carmelo.
  14. Paul George went 0/9 and 2 points against the Bobcats. That stripper he impregnated f***ed his game up. This guy is supposed to take down LeBron? Hell no. I f***ed up on that one. Even worse than my Nets prediction.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 07:52 PM) Mutombo scored more PPG in one season than Russell did in his entire career. He averaged 12 more rebounds per game than Mutombo. He was a five time MVP. In terms of modern day dominance out of a big man, only Shaq rates in this neighborhood. That comp is a joke. 1960's NBA was a joke. I can't even watch highlight clips without coughing up blood. There's this thing called pace that you apparently never heard of. Elgin Baylor, a 6'5 SF, averaged 19.8 and 18.6 rebounds per game in '61 and '62. The older you get, the lamer you get. Stop it.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 06:32 PM) Man, Mutombo was a 4-time DPOY, multiple rebounding champ, etc. You act like I compared him to Yinka Dare or Big Country Bryant Reeves. That's a damn good comparison if you ask me.
  17. So, the Sixers are awful. Question, if they get the #1 pick, do they take Embiid (already have Noel) or one of Wiggins/Parker? Extremely tough for me. I think I take Embiid and figure s*** out later. I wouldn't want to be the GM that passed on this kid.
  18. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 01:57 PM) J4L, what do you think of this? Just imagine him in actual basketball shoes and use of modern sports equipment/medicine/training... Still no better than Mutombo. Sorry.
  19. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 04:35 PM) Nice to see Danks in a real game Except it's not a real game.
  20. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 10:02 AM) I am starting to warm up to the idea of a Melo/Bulls team. My biggest concern was his D but I think Thibs can make him a decent defender. An 85-90% MVP form Rose, Melo, Noah and Gibson are 4 better players than any 4 Miami has. At the very least we need to try something and hopefully Anthony realizes NY is a hopeless situation and he comes as a FA this summer. You have to beat LeBron James and Kevin Durant if you want to win a championship. Carmelo has some flaws, but good god can he score the ball. You can't be picky when you've been to one conference final since '98.
  21. Andre Drummond is a goblin.
  22. The Heat have officially flipped the switch. And LeBron is right back in the MVP race with his recent stretch. Nash vs Shaq in '05 was the last great MVP debate, imo. This race should be epic.
  23. I'm starting to think the Bulls could take the Pacers if they can keep George in check.
  24. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 1, 2014 -> 07:31 PM) Timberwolves 5-6 Thunder 6-5 Knicks 2-11 Heat 9-1 Clippers 7-4 Weird Nothing weird about the Knicks. Outside of Carmelo, Chandler and Hardaway Jr, they're more busted than Jessica Simpson.
