Verlander got rocked again. I see he walked 7 guys. He's finally hit that 'wall' we so often hear about when it comes to rookie pitchers. I would say the Tigers are in trouble. Too bad we seem incapable of going on an extended run.

Frank with another solid game. 1/2 with an RBI single and two BB. The A's are looking mighty good of late. Although they've been feasting on a bad Mariners team.

Dodgers win again. This time it's Chad Billingsley with a 3-hit gem over 7 innings. They're gonna be a nightmare to play come October.

Javy has a 1.59 era in 3 starts (2 wins) against the Royals this year.

I just read on a Mets' board that Pedro is headed to the DL and could be out for quite a while. That's a big, big blow for the Mets. Their pitching is suspect as it is. Anything less than Pedro at or damn near close to 100% come playoff time, and the Mets are in trouble.

Make that 5-0 Tigers. Josh Beckett is really good.
