  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 8, 2013 -> 09:21 AM) Jordan - Pippen - Grant/Rodman That's 2-1/2 stars by my calculations. I know that. And they never faced a team with equal talent. In the years Jordan was gone, all you needed was one star and a few role players to win/get to the finals.
  2. QUOTE (Boogua @ May 8, 2013 -> 09:11 AM) Uhh, couldn't you just say that 1994 was the exception in the 90s then? Not really. I look at the teams the Bulls beat in the finals and they don't compare (talent wise) to some of the teams that have lost recently in the finals (2008 Lakers, 2010 Celtics, 2012 Thunder). Those two Jazz teams were really good. That's it. Oh yeah. Don't get me started on 1999. They just need to wipe that year from the history books.
  3. QUOTE (Boogua @ May 8, 2013 -> 07:09 AM) Yes, because the 2011 Dallas mavericks never existed. And I'm the one with the agenda..... 2005: Duncan/Parker/Manu 2006: Shaq/Wade 2007: Duncan/Parker/Manu 2008: KG/Pierce/Allen 2009: Kobe/Gasol/Bynum/Odom 2010: See 2009 2012: James/Wade/Bosh So as you can see, 2011 was clearly an exception. And even then you had a future DPOY and perennial 6th man of the year candidate to go pair with Dirk. In today's NBA, you need 2 1/2 stars to get anywhere in this league. You didn't need that in the 90's.
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 7, 2013 -> 11:55 PM) I don't think you can say they're done after losing just one game. And yes Perkins is f***ing awful. There was a point in time where Kendrick Perkins was a productive player for Boston. Now he's absolute crap. They've been done since Westbrook went down. There's way too much on Durant's plate right now. This isn't 1994. You get nowhere in the long run with one star.
  5. Thunder are done. I fully expect the Grizzlies to win the west. They're the only team left with a remote shot of beating the Heat.
  6. What the hell happened to this thread? Anyway, watching Thunder/Grizzlies. Kendrick Perkins is the most overpaid player in team sports relative to his production. You figure you can find guys in the D-league that could net 5 points and 5 rebounds a game. What a terrible player.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 7, 2013 -> 10:44 PM) It sure is nice to not have him in the AL Central anymore. He's a pleasure to watch when healthy.
  8. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 6, 2013 -> 11:54 PM) Only East teams I enjoy going at it are the Bulls and Heat. Even if I weren't a Bulls fan, they always become fantastic games. I would never watch the Bulls if I weren't a Bulls fan already. Just being honest. That is without Rose. With Rose, I'm glued to the Tube.
  9. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ May 6, 2013 -> 11:35 PM) I enjoy low scoring games, in baseball, football and basketball. It's ok in baseball. But in football/basketball, I want fireworks.
  10. Amazing game. The difference between west ball and east ball is just mind-blowing. I literally fall asleep at times watching these eastern conference teams play this boring ass late 90's ball. West ball is so much more aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.
  11. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ May 6, 2013 -> 11:16 PM) 13-0 spurs run lolz They might lose. I was just givin' Curry his props.
  12. I've seen enough. 1: LeBron 2: Durant 3: Paul 4: Curry
  13. f***in' Stephen Curry. What a coming out party for him (nationally) this postseason. He's pissin' on the Spurs.
  14. Miami is still going to win the series. But this s*** is just ludicrous right now. Unexplainable.
  15. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 6, 2013 -> 03:55 PM) BREAKING: Bulls have announced a Derrick Rose statue will be placed outside the UC. Installation is expected before next season. lmao. That's awesome.
  16. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 6, 2013 -> 03:08 PM) BULLS IN 5 I know you drink a lot. It's 2013. NotThisParticularYear
  17. lmao@Carmelo getting a first place MVP vote.
  18. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 18, 2013 -> 01:20 AM) You are doing drugs Q has a less violent delivery and is probably a better bet long term to stay healthy, but Sale has the stuff to win a Cy Young. It is good to see that Q's late season fade last year has not manifested itself this year. Exactly. If you want to say that Q is a better bet than Sale long-term because Sale's arm is more likely to fall off then, yeah, I guess. I could say Jimmy Butler is a better long-term bet over Rose due to the fact Rose no longer has a penis. Give me the risk of Sale/Rose pver Q/Butler anytime.
  19. Can't believe how bad the 2008 draft has turned out. There's still time for a few guys (Hosmer for one). But for what was supposed to be one of the better classes of the last 15 years or so, most have been a major disappointment (sans Buster Posey).
  20. Lakers win. They're actually the 7th seed now. I might've given 'em a chance against the Spurs with Kobe.
  21. Holy Chandler f***ing Parsons. Dude just hit a damn near 40 footer to send the game into OT.
  22. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 11:02 PM) And J4L has delivered the kiss of death Like Steve's sources, I would like to be spectacularly wrong. I just can't come up with a realistic scenario, outside of injury, in which they lose 4 times in a series.
  23. So Miami finishes the season winning 37 of their last 39 games. Only losses during said stretch were, of course, to the Bulls, and the Knicks (LeBron/Wade didn't play). Good luck rest of the NBA. f*** it. None of you have a chance.
