  1. QUOTE (bbilek1 @ May 12, 2013 -> 11:50 PM) If you could read you will see that was never said. I read it. And it's still awful.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 12, 2013 -> 08:45 PM) Base hit. Back to hockey. Cmon, dude. Nothing is that terrible.
  3. PK looking every bit his 36 years.
  4. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ May 12, 2013 -> 07:31 PM) Tyler needs to hit the ball softer with runners in scoring position. That ball got to Hamilton too quickly to allow the run to score. Huh? Or is this sarcasm? If so, nm.
  5. QUOTE (danman31 @ May 12, 2013 -> 07:21 PM) Klay is so streaky and his shot selection sucks. He needs to develop the rest of his game to truly be a standout player. For now he's just a great shooter. Oh, he's far from a finished product. Overrated is somebody like Deron Williams. Not a second year player nobody knew anything about outside of league pass subscribers before this postseason.
  6. QUOTE (danman31 @ May 12, 2013 -> 05:26 PM) OT blowout. It's amazing how much confidence Harrison Barnes is playing with. Klay Thompson is overrated, but Barnes seems to be coming in under the radar. Either way three very nice young offensive pieces. Yeah, I don't think so. But I agree that the Warriors have a nice little core. I would have to think Lee going down and Harrison Barnes being thrust into a bigger role will payoff big time in the long run for GS.
  7. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ May 12, 2013 -> 03:49 PM) it's May 12th guys, the weather has yet to even really heat up. With the pitching we have and the fact that we're ONLY 6 games out I don't see why we can't compete this year. We probably don't have enough to actually catch the Tigers but I can certainly see us being competitive this year. We've seen Lexi carry this team at times, Dayan has the potential to get hot and carry the team, Beckham coming back could be a positive thing, Dunn has shown signs of light lately, and hopefully PK starts to turn it around at some point. If we can swing a trade at some point for a quality catcher I think we can be an above .500 team. Yeah, this just isn't true. .316 OPS in May so far.
  8. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 9, 2013 -> 01:40 PM) Well, suspended implies temporary, while banned implies permanent. See, you've learned something new today....go home and tell your mom! And knowing is half the battle
  9. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 9, 2013 -> 10:11 AM) That Ubaldo Jimenez trade just looks awesome I'll never forget that 99 mph changeup he threw in 2010. But yeah, he's f***ing awful.
  10. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ May 9, 2013 -> 08:01 AM) Hilarious. The guy with Snooki as his avatar is criticizing women's looks. Sure the woman in this picture is nasty, but Snooki is about as gross as it gets. Try again. gent. This is as gross as it gets. People hate snooki because she makes $10 million dollars a year to do nothing. But she's so fire. I'd tear that tan little ass up. And I'd make her sport that poof, too. get off me.
  11. lol. Is that Brandofan again? What a f***in' loser if so.
  12. What the f***? When did She-mac sign with the Spurs?
  13. How is Duncan's old ass still so good? f***in' Spurs won't go away.
  14. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ May 8, 2013 -> 10:34 PM) KC Johnson - Taj Gibson will likely be suspended for that. Didn't leave floor and kept pointing at official Scott Foster, spewing profanity. If he is suspended, so much for Game 3. Especially with Boozer playing so awful, and not having Taj to go to. Also no lead is safe for the warriors lol WOW b**** look like a combo of Glenn Close and Hulk Hogan.
  15. QUOTE (danman31 @ May 8, 2013 -> 09:17 PM) Stephen Curry is the most fun player to watch in the NBA and I don't think it's even close. I might have to agree. The Warriors overall are a really entertaining watch.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 8, 2013 -> 07:19 PM) No, me and Quinarvy disagreed in game 1 when I said that Boozer is terrible against the heat in the postseason. He told me I can't use 2011 as a barometer because the heat are a different team, which I disagreed with Everybody knows Boozer folds like a little b**** the deeper the playoffs and the better the competition. Goes back to Utah and how his ass would get bent over by that huge laker front-line EVERY year.
  17. I can't believe how deep the Heat are with three guys taking up so much cap space. f***ing lame.
  18. Uh, yeah. LeBron clearly ain't waitin' around tonight.
  19. Wow. This is pretty cool. Where did you find this?
  20. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 8, 2013 -> 10:49 AM) He blew out his ACL the same day Derrick did... Holy f***. That was nasty.
  21. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 8, 2013 -> 09:57 AM) How about the 88 and 89 Pistons? 3 Hall of Famers in Rodman, Dumars, and Thomas as well as Laimbeer and Aguirre. Or the 86 and 87 Lakers? Magic, Abdul-Jabar, Scott, and Worthy? The 85 Celtics had Bird, McHale, and Parish No matter how you slice and dice it, the NBA has always been a league that is driven by its stars. Of course. I wasn't talking about the 80's. You had 23 teams during most of the 80's. 6 team expansion and a lot of bad drafts totally diluted the 90's. The Bulls were the exception. And god damn did they take advantage. People like to talk romance the "rivalry" with the Knicks. Are you serious? That was one team, the Bulls, totally skull-f***ing the other team, the Knicks, because the talent gap was so massive. John Starks as your #2? That's just no good. Yet when MJ was gone, they damn near won the whole thing the next year. That would never happen today.
  22. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 8, 2013 -> 09:37 AM) translation: "I said something silly and will have to defend it but will be unmercifully picked at soooooo, i'm out!" Um, no. We've done this multiple times. I'm not afraid of evolution. Some are. I'd much rather talk about tonight's game.
  23. And I'm going to stop right now because I can see where this is going.
  24. QUOTE (Boogua @ May 8, 2013 -> 09:27 AM) Yeah, none of those teams compared to the 09 Magic or the 07 Cavs. Good call on 2007. I like to pretend that never happened. The east was horrible that year. But they were put in their place when they faced a legitimate team. 2009 Magic was a fluke.
