Well, well, well
Wow. The Cards r playin some serious baseball. They're toying with the Slubs right now. One thing i've noticed about their offense is that they're very dependent on the long ball "sound familiar". They have little to no team speed. They don't have anybody outta their regular players that can lay down a bunt. That's where they miss a guy like Kenny Lofton. I don't think people realize how huge he was for them last year. He ignited their entire offense. They don't have a guy like that this year and it's showing. As far as the Cards go. They're one more quality starter away from owning the entire national league.

Well, well, well
You're right.. I didn't even notice to tell you the truth. I do tend to throw and an extra comma here and there. I'm more concerned with making sure my spelling is correct more than anything.
-
Well, well, well
I called it b****ing because that's exactly what it is. You leave a post about a god damn comma? Like you don't know what I mean? Last time I checked this wasn't d.o.l. I don't need any help from you on how to write a sentence. And if it's so painfully hard for you to read what I post. IGNORE them.

Well, well, well
Weren't we playing a big chunk of our gms against the Red Sox and Yankess in September, while the Twins were fatning up on the 43-119 Tigers? And you say we had a 2 gm lead with 2 weeks to go? Didn't the Twins take like 4 or 5 straight from us in September to jump right ahead of us in the standings? My point being, With the Cubs having no gms left with the Cards in the second half they'll be relying on OTHER teams to help them out, while having to play lights out baseball themselves. It's much, much harder to come back that way. You said the world champs were 13gms back? You're right, And they finished about 13 gms in back of the Braves. They made the wildcard. And obviously that's still there for the Cubs. I never said they couldn't win the wildcard. But as far as winning the division. That might be outta the question.

White Sox History
Frank was a beast tha year. Then again. He was a beast every year of the 90's save 99.
-
Well, well, well
lol. And did we win the division? Everybody new last year's Royals were garbage. It was gonna come down to the Sox and Twins. And obviously the Twins won it. This Cardinal team is for real. Might be the best team in baseball. They have the best offense and defense in the league. A capable starting staff and bullpen.
-
And that's a White Sox winner!!!
I wouldn't go that far. Winning the last gm against the Angels and tonight is nice. But, I wouldn't say we've cured anything yet.
-
Well, well, well
You're right. They've only got 2 gms left with them after this series. That's kinda f***ed up. 2 division foes like the Slubs and Cards playing each other twice after the break? Well, I guess that's better for the, Cards.
-
Well, well, well
They have no games left with the Cards after this series?
-
And that's a White Sox winner!!!
This is what we have to do against the Scrub teams. POUND them. Nice outing by, Jon. I'm not gonna get too excited though. He did what he basically was supposed to do against a pathetic Mariners offense.

Twins/Tigers Game
Thank you, Detroit

Well, well, well
Coming into the season everybody knew the Cards had a great offense, a great defense, and a solid pen. The question was, Did they have enough pitching after, Morris? I think that question has been answered and then some. Carpenter has been their best starter. Suppan and Marquis have been very good. Woody Williams is starting to pitch like he did last year. Add to that, Morris has yet to fully pitch like he's capable. I still think that they're gonna go out and get another quality starter before the deadline just to be safe. If they do that. The nl central race is pretty much over.

Loaiza #2
He's looking more like Loaiza Pre-2003. He still has half a season left to prove he's "ace" material though.
-
Tim Kurkjian
Very good point. I forgot about that. Man, baseball needs to seriously ditch this one guy from every team has to go bulls***.
-
Timo
Timo has become our best clutch hitter of late. He's the guy I want up in late game clutch situations.

White Sox History
I'll never forget how pathetically FAT Fernandez and Alvarez got during the strike. 95 was a horrible year
- Garland

Garland
Us? What the hell r u talkin about. He's goin up against the, Mariners tomorrow. That's what I meant by worst offense in the american league.
-
Garland
Listen you big, Dildo. Don't tell me to shut the hell up. YOU SHUT THE HELL UP. 2nd. I like Garland. But don't kid yourself. He's as inconsistent as they come. Until he starts showing that consistency that all QUALITY pitchers do I will continue to bash. I'm sick of the excuses. He's too young, Jerry Manuel is f***in with him, etc, etc, etc.
-
Did anyone see the game today?
He say anything about possible additions to the team?
-
Question
When Jose went down. Uribe got his chance. When Maggs went down. Perez and Rowand got their chance. With Frank goin down. Borchard should finally get his chance.
-
Garland
Don't be fooled by his last start. How many times have we thought to ourselves "He's finally gettin it"? He better go out and dominate tomorrow. This is the worst offense in the al. Anything less than 3 runs in 7 innings or so is crap.

Fallen Angels to Sox (we pray)
8-5 Angels in the bottom of the 6th

Fallen Angels to Sox (we pray)
lol..Give me a break. When we were 3rd in the al in era and everybody was pitchin well I said our pithcing had been as good as their's up to that point. I dare you to find a post where I said our pitching was better overall.
