You're probably right. Perez was brought in here to be a 4th outfielder. It's about time Rowand get more consistent playing time. That is assuming we don't make a trade for another cf.

This is a good problem to have. Both Rowand and Perez have been smokin hot the last few weeks. Only thing I can think of is play Rowand against lh and Perez against rh. If anything our bench gets stronger.

Or the 2001 Mariners when they had Nelson, Rhodes and Sasaki. Or was it Rhodes, Nelson and Sasaki? Oh well. You know what i'm talking about.

The key is, Pollite. We know what Marte and Shingo can do. Can Cliff keep this up? We all know he's got a good arm. I think this 7th inning role is good for him.

I wasn't worried about his pitch count. He hung a few breaking balls. Simple as that. It wasn't because he was tired.

No way. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I wanna see Pollite, Marte, and Shingo for the 7th, 8th, and 9th as much as possible. I do agree that we could use atleast 1 more arm. I still like Cotts but Jackson has got to go.

I have no problem with standing up and giving a player his due. I've been hating on Pollite all year. Now it's time for me to atleast give him some props for now.

I've always supported, Jose. Sure he makes you wanna break something with one of his bonehead plays in the field or his looking straight foolish at the plate at times. But if you know baseball and you look at the big picture. You realize Jose is a very valuable asset to this team.

Was I hearing things or did Hawk say he's retired the last 18 batters he's faced? And that was before the easy 1-2-3 inning he had in the 7th. It looks like they've finally found a comfortable role for him. If he continues like this we have a dynamite shut em down 7th-8th-9th inning trio of Pollite, Marte, and Shingo.

Anybody noticed that we've torched 4 quality rh pitchers in a row? Zambrano, Maddux, Silva, and Radke. I love our approach. Like Hawk was saying. Up the middle and going the other way. We keep that approach we're gonna be scary dangerous. The hr's r gonna come regardless.

I can't believe he got just 2.16 runs a game scored for him with the, Mariners. Unless you'e era is under 2 it's damn near impossible to win gms with such few runs scored for you.

I was very impressed. Other than the hr's he was dynamite. Control was good. 9 so's. I wonder what's going through his mind right now? If he's still with the Mariners he loses this game. He's gonna love it here knowing he doesn't have to pitch a gem everytime out to have a chance to win.

I gotta give the guy props. He's been steppin up big-time of late. I've been back n forth with this guy all year long. He's still a crappy baserunner. Other than that he's been solid.

Mark is gonna give up some hits. He's not blessed with breathtaking stuff. Location is the big thing with him. As long as he's hitting his spots he'll be fine.

Great win tonight. But I think we need to calm down with the "they should fear us" nonsense. They're back 2 back division champions. They shouldn't fear us one bit. Sure we've taken 4 of the last 5. But that will mean nothing as far as the big picture goes unless WE win the division.
