I'm VERY dissapointed with the way this team has come out the last 2 nights. This is worse than corpseball. We desperately need a win tomorrow. E-lo better step up.

This is gettin scary. Has anybody ever heard of this parasite thing? This might be way off base. But does anybody think this has anything to do with obsessive steroid use?

I remember reading that in Sports Illustrated back in 1994. That was the year Frank had a legit shot at the triple crown. That's the kinda fear he put into the hearts of opposing pitchers/managers.

Seven straight years of atleast a .300 ba. 20 hr's, 100 rbi's, 100 runs, and 100 walks. A career .308 ba. A former batting champion. 2 time mvp. Almost 500 hr's. And didn't need steroids, cork, etc to do that. Yeah. He's a hall of famer to me.

Lets not get too excited. Even Crede at his hottest isn't enough to replace Frank and Maggs. I'd like to get another bat if we could. But I agree that we need another arm in the pen.

Like I said earlier. I realize he's got things he has to work on. But last season, he had 28 gms of scoring 20 or more points. Including scoring gms of 50 and 42. The talent and potential is there. People seem to forget, Jamal only played in twenty something college gms before joining the Bulls. He's had to fight with injuries, Jay Williams, bad coaching. He's still very young.

If Joe can get back to his Aug/Sept 2002 form, this division race is all but over.

I don't know what is about the 2nd half that gets Joe goin, but I like it. I had a feeling he was gonna come through.

I don't even think he's a homer. Sure he loves the Sox with everything he's got. But he usually calls it like it is. If the Sox are struggling? He'll say it. If the Soxare playing like s***? He'll say it. If somebody is better than us? He'll say it.

Best win this season. I thought this one was over. It's amazing how Joe always rises to the occassion with the game on the line in the 9th. Lets go for the sweep tomorrow.

I agree that Jamal is very inconsistent. But he's still very young and has huge upside. Trading him wouldn't hurt as much because we have Gordon now. But I would rather not trade him. I guarantee you if we do he'll have an all-star year for some other team.

lol. Damn. Cubs had a runner on 2nd and nobody out in the 9th and couldn't even get him to 3rd. They r absolutely horribly offesinvely without hitting hr's.

I'd rather win by 20 runs. And with SS pitching we might need 20 runs to win this game.
