I remember last year (before the season started) someone had said with Konerko and Dunn in the lineup, it was a perfect set-up for Donkey Kong. Obviously with Dunn's season last year, that wasn't a reality. I'm surprised no one has brought it up this year, yet. Sounds like an opportunity for someone to do some art...

I've noticed that Stone never jumps on board with Hawk's homerun calls like DJ did. Honestly I'm not sure what it would sound like with Stone's relatively calm voice.

I realize this thread is basically nothing but opinions, so I'll offer an opinion of my own. I'm surprised by the amount of hate towards The Killing. I am still really enjoying it. I am wondering, however, what sort of role Richmond will have, if any. Seems like an extra character now. Last week's episode was very good. Stan's son and then Stan himself losing it was a long time coming. Linden should get the worst mother of the year award.

I thought Hawk was going to have a stroke after De Aza's grand slam. And how did he call Rios' double a homerun? It was pretty obvious that the ball hit the wall. He was halfway through "booooaaaarrrrrdddd" before he realized the ball was bouncing around in the field.

Ozzie didn't like home runs because he had the HR power of Juan Pierre/Jerry Owens, so therefore, he didn't want them on his team, even though his teams were only good when they hit the f*** out of the ball. This is a great post, and that first line is classic.
