Man this is killing me. It seems pretty obvious that Hudson has been dealt, but to where and for whom? I hope it's not the Hudson and prospect for Jackson. That would be giving away too much.

I liked how with both homers Castro paused to admire the towering power blasts they were. Even if you had the sound turned down (because you knew from the sound they were long gone), you could watch his body language and know he cranked them.

Last year the trade deadline was on Friday. I had a meeting at 11:00 and came back to see the acquisition of Peavy. I got absolutely nothing done the rest of the day. I hope a move happens today because I won't have access to a computer tomorrow.

If the Sox only acquire a pitcher (and from the sounds of things it'll be Jackson), I won't be very excited. Regardless of the fact that the Sox have been hitting well lately, they still need another bat. Luke Scott, Branyan, LaRoche, Garrett Jones...I'd take any of them.

I would hope that if Hudson is involved in the trade that the Sox are going to land LaRoche as well. Either that or the Sox are not very high on Hudson...or KW is going to make a bad move.

Wow! Castro was impressive last night. Maybe the Sox should make a minor move for a catcher then have Castro DH.
