Since there's not much going on in Sox world right now, maybe we need a new game. The rules are pretty simple. Name a city that begins with the last letter of the previously named city. For example: Boston...New York I'll start Naperville

The last thing I am is a wealth of information when it comes to liquor. However, I do love a good margarita, and margaritas are my wife's favorite. I've had some good ones out at restaurants and bars. Sometimes even the plain old margaritas are made extremely well. One liquor that I have experimented with (for the first time at a restaurant in Tampa years ago) is Midori. A well made Midori margarita is one of my favorites. I haven't tried it, but I've heard that the Chipotle margarita at Outback is awesome. There's something else with the chipotle (pineapple?) but I can't remember. And Olive Garden has the Italian margarita...still have to try that, too. Thanks, now I'm craving a margarita.

I began a self-imposed diet the week before New Years, and one of the things I cut out was the finer things...during the week anyway. Although there are those days after work when I really crave a frothy brew, I haven't cheated yet. The one good thing about doing this is how good the beer tastes Friday evening. Damn, now I'm "thirsty". Only two more days.

Nix is the most likely in my mind. If the Sox aren't going to sign Thome then I don't see them signing Damon or Hudson. And I don't see any deals going down. Unless, like it has already been mentioned, KW picks someone from the scrap heap. It worked last year with Pods, but how many times can he get lucky like that?

Portillos serves beer, and it's quite reasonably priced. A large schooner of MGD or Lite is $3.25. Goes well with a combo and hot peppers.

I used to love playing ultimate frisbee. I would probably die after running around that much now, though. Of all the one-handed (drinking) games, I think Bocce has got to be my favorite.

I do like Red Robin's burger with the fried egg. I've been there about 4 times and had awful service twice, but the food is good. Portillos probably has the best fast-food burger. Their double bacon cheeseburger is unbelievable. I found that the Brickhouse Pizza Pub in Crest hill has very good burgers. They have one with a fried egg, and it rivals Red Robin's.

Based on what Quentin could do if he stays healthy, $3 million is a steal. But like I said, based on what he COULD do.

I've heard of this young man. He's apparently a decent pitcher. How did we acquire him?

I've never had an experience where I saw an actual apparition. The few experiences I have had were sounds, unsettling feelings, cold spots, etc. There was an old farm house that we would meet friends at to go hunting or just gather for a weekend. Supposedly the house was haunted by the previous owner (Ben) who died in the downstairs bedroom. There were plenty of things that happened that seemed like a haunting, but I know oftentimes we were just scaring ourselves. However, we would often hear footsteps and a rocking chair rocking in the attic. The strangest thing was we'd occasionally hear a phone ring, and there was no phone in the house.
