ya know NUKE, batting average really doesnt mean a heckuva lot. If you're batting .243 like frank and got a .451 OBP like frank, that more than evens out because on base equals run production and thats the key to winning. ie: frank = winning

i honestly think if a big deal were made about resigning maggs right now, you'd get the fans to come out, you'd create electricity at the ballpark and i think we'd win our share of games. Maggs is in a mini-slump right now, thats hardly grounds to pull the plug on him.

the one thing we lack in general on this team is a fireballer. We need one. Koch used to be but isnt anymore. Now opposing teams get the same kind of pitcher everyday and all the bullpen guys are close to the same speed. We need variation. Trade Danny for a minor league AAA fireballer
