  1. Yeah thats why I posted here because I figured youd have much better information than random internet posters.
  2. Saw it on scout boards, here is where it originates: http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=141&f=2455&t=11793093 No idea legitimacy, its just been on multiple scout boards today.
  3. So there are a ton of rumors that Miami is about to get hit with sanctions.
  4. You should have a will. Its not even about property, that will go per stirpes without one. But most parents want to have some sort of input on who is going to take care of their child. So Id say absolutely a will, trust maybe. I personally like life insurance because of social security look backs etc, but that is years down the line and by then who knows what loopholes/tricks will be closed/opened. You could theoretically do one without an attorney. Im pretty sure that for a will to be valid it just needs to be in writing, signed and attested by 2 witnesses.
  5. Imagine being a Badger fan and having to see that stare 2 games every week. At one point I was watching the only 2 teams that refused to use the shotgun. It was as if I was living in a different decade of football.
  6. Mel Tucker is running a similar system and most of the guys are still there. Bostick is replacing old Urlacher not young one, so its not as easy to notice.
  7. Too noisy (imo), should have just gone with BFF. Or had them have matching BFF tattoos on their arms.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 15, 2013 -> 09:54 AM) Dunn is a bad example for this, because he never made excuses of it, he never mentioned at all. He took full blame to his awful season, whether or not his personal life affected him or not. I respect him for that. Somebody earlier in the thread mentioned it in response, and that's how he was brought up. I get disappointed when excuses are made, like Robin bringing up Alexei's off-the-field stuff as an excuse for his awful defensive play this year. Or Torii Hunter doing the same for Prince. I realize it could be hard to do your job with other stuff on your mind, but these players are handsomely paid to perform on the grand stage, if you underperform, I think the player should take full blame or he shouldn't be on the field then. Well last I checked its not the employees decision on who is working. So if the employer wants you to suit up, you suit up. Your arguments are bordering on the absurd. Who cares how much they are paid, they arent being paid because they are unemotional robots, they are being paid because they are the best baseball players. You cant compare this to normal jobs. Most people at a normal job arent in the top 1% in their field. Most people at normal jobs dont bring unique skill sets that cant be easily replaced. When you have that, then employers give you leeway because its in the employers best interest. At any point they can bench Dunn or Ramirez. As for the excuses, what does it matter. If something factually happened, why can it not be brought up? Maybe its impacting them, maybe it isnt. If you want to argue that Dunn's son had nothing to do with his bad hitting and that its because he sucked and stopped practicing, go for it. No one is stopping you. I just dont see why anyone would be disappointed in a human being a human. The amount of money you are paid doesnt change that.
  9. This seems to be going down a path of getting much much worse.
  10. You cant trust those because a lot of people lie about their current drug use...
  11. When you see a train wreck in the future you should just get out of the way. These license fees are great, but with or without them college football/athletics goes on. Its delicate right now, its why the Manziel situation could go sideways really quick.
  12. Wow there is a shocker. Maybe someone should have realized he couldnt beat out JeMarcus Russell at LSU and he had worse stats. But that one game he looked good! lol
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 17, 2013 -> 04:28 PM) Yes but if you read between the lines the NCAA is trying to distance itself from any potential lawsuit by saying "It wasnt us, it was the school" So now schools will have to license without the cloak of authority from the NCAA. Id guess that a few schools play it safe and dont renew their licenses due to concerns of potential future lawsuit. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2...s-ncaa-football This wasnt predictable at all.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Aug 14, 2013 -> 10:56 AM) I'm sure at some point the DEA will search the house, but it looked like it was straight-up vandalized and then condemned. The whole inside was trashed, the appliances were gone, it was filthy, the inside and outside was covered in spray paint, the flooring looked destroyed. My interpretation was that the property was likely seized by the govt during the future investigation.
  15. QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 13, 2013 -> 01:59 PM) I'm all over the slam....A friend told me that Indiana now allows felonies to be expunged. I have quite the petty felony on my record from 6 years ago....What is that process like? Before calling a lawyer I figure I'd try to get some knowledge on the subject here Sounds like its a clusterf*** at the moment: http://www.courier-journal.com/viewart/201...legal-confusion Id probably just pay for an attorney if there isnt a set of forms/guide available on the internet. In Illinois its not that bad, most people do it on their own, but that Indiana article seems to suggest if you mess it up you lose your chance.
  16. Hes pretty good, its hard to tell what will happen in the next 5 years, but he has massive talent. Saw Ti/Wayne this weekend, obviously they were good.
  17. And you dont even have a good excuse like you did a bunch of drugs at Lolla and youre wondering if they actually changed the way your brain processes information. Not that I would have any first hand information on that.
  18. I never wasnt. Why cant OSU players sell their own memorabilia? It makes no sense.
  19. Ive seen a lot of great rap artists (not as much as my friend who went with me) and we both agreed that Lamar had something. Im kind of excited to see what Dre is going to do with Black Hippy because it kind of feels like he is starting to put a stable together again, and Dre does not miss often. Lets be honest, very few rappers can say that Dre rapped on their album... And over the next few weeks Im going to see the following rap acts: TI, Wayne, Wu Tang, Nas, Kid Cudi
  20. Kendrick Lamar was very impressive last night at the Aragon, So far that is #1 with NIN in 2nd.
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 30, 2013 -> 05:05 PM) In theory, does society ever do the "gotcha now?" Nail the person the second time around even when the second case is pretty petty? Id venture to guess that certain individuals do exact their own "justice" if they perceive there to be some sort of injustice. But that is just how people are.
  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 30, 2013 -> 03:56 PM) That side tat is so typical of girls from westerville. So Westerville is trashy? Does it have good strip clubs???
  23. No real idea, never followed the subsequent case. Im honestly not a big fan of civil suits that are basically pseudo criminal cases. Preponderance of the evidence is a stupid standard when it comes to whether or not someone committed a murder. In short free OJ. Or dont free him, I dont really know or care. But I think that someones personal memorabilia should not be able to be turned over in a citation proceeding.
  24. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 30, 2013 -> 04:56 PM) And Jake Peavy was involved, not Alex freaking Rios. I find your avatar offensive. Nobody puts Jay in a corner!
  25. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 30, 2013 -> 04:48 PM) Much more of the pre-2005 personality to be honest. Time flies. Hard to believe some of us have been here for over 10 years.
