Well in terms of normal human ratings they are all hot, but in terms of the fantasy comic realm, they could have been hotter. Pacquin completely ruined the Rogue character for me, because she is supposed to be hot and a complete bad ass. Even Storm was Halle Berry.

Yeah it cant be explained. They turned Mary Jane into plain Jane Dunst. Its the same with X-Men casting Rogue, who was supposed to be super hot (arguably hotter than Phoenix), yet she is played by Anna Pacquin, who is not nearly as attractive as Femke Janssen.

If the Nets get Howard, the Nets and Heat should be in a different category than the Knicks, who may not even be better than the aging Celtics.

Yes it was crappy casting, Dunst isnt even a redhead so it wasnt like they needed her to be MJ. MJ should be way hotter.

I am saying that a large amount of people who argue gun rights use the argument that criminals are going to have guns no matter what, so the only people that will restricted are those who actually follow the law. I was pointing out that the set of facts posted by Balta can be used both to support his argument and to attack his argument, it just depends on how you want to look at it. Sometimes facts arent politically correct, but you cant just ignore them for that reason. (edit) And I dont really believe it, I think there are probably thousands of different potential reasons for the result.

Unfortunately its the lesser of 2 evils, 1 evil actively platforms on the govt controlling your life (Republicans) the other evil doesnt explicitly say it, but it potentially could be the natural end of their current platform (Democrats). Since I put social freedom above economic issues, I have to be a Democrat, just no reconciliation with anti-gay rights, etc. Basically the exact opposite of giving people personal freedom.

There is a racial argument in there. When white people are told that they can legally kill someone, they kill more people. When they are told they cant legally kill someone, they kill less people. It really doesnt matter to me, towns/cities/states should be able to create their own gun laws within reason.

Who are you to tell me what to eat? People are stupid, that is not new. People make stupid decisions all the time, but isnt the point of America that we have the freedom to make our own stupid decisions? What if the govt could prove that if I had been forced to be a scientist or doctor, I could have reduced the burden on the entire healthcare system. Would you think that it would be okay for the US govt to force me to become a scientist or doctor because that would help everyone else? Seems safer that we let people make bad decisions and if they die, oh well.

Govt shouldnt be able to tell you what you can eat and drink. Although a great argument against Healthcare would be that if the govt is paying for it, they have a better argument to ban unhealthy things and further control our lives.

In a perfect world the Rockets would send someone for Asik, but I cant imagine they want to pay Asik that much money and give up something useful. I could dream of getting White or Lamb, just not going to happen.

The Bulls just dont have the money to spend on Asik and you can find other Centers who may be able to play 10 minutes for considerably cheaper.

As much as I may like Asik, Houston might be doing the Bulls a favor with this offer. If its more reasonable, the bulls may have matched, but this deal is hard to justify.
