  1. Where can I find the entire Skanberg collection?
  2. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 07:27 AM) And by this time next month they'll both probably be on the dl. Let's hope that they're not 100% come October, because I don't want to see those guys in the playoffs. They're f***ing insane when healthy.
  3. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 01:16 PM) LeroySettles posse is looking for some dope young recruits... R U DOWN? I'd have to completely rearrange my wardrobe, but yeah, I'm down.
  4. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 02:21 AM) josh beckett and curt schilling?? Yeah, they're only a combined 7-0 thus far. Have you looked at their WHIP, ERA, BAA numbers, etc? You also said that Buehrle is more valuable than Johan Santana. Do you follow baseball outside of the White Sox? Doesn't sound like it. I smell a flip-floppin' Cubs fan.
  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 05:04 AM) Well, he pitched the final 3 innings of a win = save. Yep, and I don't think I've ever seen a Sox reliever get one of those types of saves before, but I'll also concede that I can't remember what happened last week.
  6. Okay game I suppose, but what the f***, only 13 runs?
  7. Now, this is what I like to see. A good old-fashioned beatdown.
  8. QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 05:28 PM) Does Derek Jeter count? Haha, nope.
  9. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 04:24 PM) Why is it f***ed up? There are hardly any white american players in the nba and nobody seems to complain about that. That's pretty messed up as well, although white men (by and large) can't really run, jump, move laterally, etc. Go back 10 years, and you have guys in their prime like Frank, Griffey, Bonds, Belle, Gwynn, Sheffield, Larkin, McGriff, Lofton, Mo Vaughn, etc. All of those players should/will be hall of famers with the exception of Kenny Lofton and Mo Vaughn. I suppose that McGriff is borderline. Who are the potential hall of famers in the 27 to 33 age range in 2006? I can't think of anybody.
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 05:20 AM) Although, there are quite a few up and coming players now who are african american (Willis, Howard, Crawford, Weeks, Fielder, Crisp, Sabathia when healthy, maybe Brandon Phillips now , Alex Rios finally?, Granderson and Gathright?) but numbers are down. Uh, you forgot Josh Barfield. That crop of up-and-coming players is crap IMO, even with Upton or whomever. There are some superstars and potential superstars to be found in that group, obviously, but if a knowledgeable baseball fan can only name like a dozen guys under the age of 27, then you have to admit that the situation is pretty f***ed up.
  11. Man, if they could move to San Antonio, that would be lovely. They have like half a dozen upper-tier pitching prospects, correct? And in their first year of rebuilding, they have this five man core: Miguel Cabrera 3B Hanley Ramirez SS Josh Willingham OF Mike Jacobs 1B Jeremy Hermida OF Miguel Olivo has an .880 OPS vs righthanders thus far in 27 ABs, which is obviously too small of a sample size to judge a guy on, but when you look at what he has done vs. righties in the past: 2005: .506 OPS, .192 AVG (193 ABs) 2004: .621 OPS, .196 AVG (214 ABs) 2003: .567 OPS, .220 AVG (231 ABs) What an absolute nightmare. I don't care how good you are defensively. If you are an automatic out against RHP, you don't deserve to start on a major league team.
  12. Maybe you can cook your dick? It would be a small meal. I'm feeling like a cross between Andrew Dice Clay and Corey Feldman right now.
  13. Those guys in the second photo? I doubt that I'm cool enough to hang out with them. But I can get a pink shirt and hang out with the fake-ass John Gotti posse, no question.
  14. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 20, 2006 -> 04:01 AM) He's that one pitcher who gets his ass handed to him in the playoffs on a consistent basis. You're a better poster than that.
  15. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 02:09 AM) Yep, dude is money in the regular season. Call him Mr. May In 190 playoff innings pitched: 3.22 ERA 1.22 WHIP Yeah, he really sucked in the playoffs. Teams win games, not individuals. I know that this is a difficult concept to grasp.
  16. See, we should have brought Frank back. Is K-Dub an uncle tom?
  17. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 03:30 AM) This guy is playing all of you like fiddles. He's just getting a rise out of you. There is no way he is serious with any of this. Really, you think so?
  18. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 03:09 AM) Which pink shirt? I see two of them. Electric Pink. Remember, these guys are rowdy. They run the place.
  19. QUOTE(LeroySettle @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 03:51 PM) I love how people say the fans are annoying, bandwagoners, ect. Ive had season tickets for 3 years and to be honest the games are even better now. Even on weekday nights we are drawing decent amounts of people. Im glad people are showing up to support us. I love going to games with my boyz and being rowdy, and its even better with more people at the park. We run that place. Who cares if someone wants to throw a ball back after someone from the other team hits a homer. They caught the ball they can do what they want with it. It isnt just a "cubs" thing. Here is a picture of me and my boyz after Friday nights win at Jimbos Are you sure that ain't a picture of you and your boyz partying hard after the Gay Pride Parade? You ain't even out of high school yet and you've had season tickets for three years? Is that you in the pink shirt?
  20. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 05:49 PM) Yup. Country Strong. I thought that it was "Three Gorilla Strong".
