Right now it's looking like the Cubs will surely take 2-3 from the Sox, and we're also going into the roughest stretch of the season with 3 'legit' starters that are pitching like pure s***. That's a poor assessment. You can't judge a player on how he 'looks'. That's downright ridiculous. It's one thing if you KNOW he doesn't care, but you can't simply base his effectivness on his stone face.

The only thing keeping Garland from being a staff ace is his head. He's downright dumb sometimes.

I thought this up the other day, and I'd ship Maggs to Boston for Williamson and Nixon. Only problem with Nixon his health. He only has 22 AB's, and I don't really know what the injury is. The offense is fine without Magglio. The pitching has been downright nasty. The Sox can win without Magglio.

Did anyone see the way he stared down his HR, then gave Cotts a look while still standing at home? I didn't notice at the park, but I saw it on the highlights. It was quite ridiculous, and if I'm Cotts or any of the Sox pitchers, I serve one up in his rib cage tomorrow.

I'll revisit a post I made about a month ago speaking of how the White Sox should get this guy. Well, his OPS is up to .921, alongside 54 RBI and 19 HR. It seems as it would be difficult to deal for him at this point (wasn't a month ago), but, revisiting the thought, would you deal for Griffey now?

I wouldn't go as far to tell him to shave his 'Hitler patch'. Being compared to Hitler in any which way is offensive to most. Arnie struggled, and to me, that doesn't merit any comparison to Hitler. ...Even if it is just facial hair.

How about we just get a freaking legit starter and stop bringing these AA chumps up to face the big boys? I don't know if anyone has noticed, but it doesn't work.

I know I speak for a lot of people when I say this, Wimpy is dearly missed in the White Sox community. It's tough to read an article like that. It's very sad for everyone.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that second inning was the worst inning of the year for the Sox.

3 runs through 1 IP. I know this guy wasn't going to get any sort of a long term shot this season, and maybe he turns it around to finish off the game, but this fifth starter deal the White Sox have going is ridiculous. Are there any veteran free agents out there worth taking a look until the time to deal comes? How long will Kenny let this go on? Can the White Sox even afford to give these games away anymore? ...Let alone to the Expos? Is Freddy Garcia really a viable option if he is going to leave after the season? If I'm the GM, I take my eyes off of Freddy and I go out and get a pitcher that doesn't put us in the same situation we are in now to start next season. If the Sheets or Sabathia stuff if true, Williams NEEDS to get that deal done. Garcia is NOT the answer. Not in my opinion.

Not everybody clicks at all times. If they did, we'd have a 10 game lead. There'll be offensive struggles, and the reason Lee and Thomas get paid big money is to give them a little spark when needed most. Just relax. Our best player is on the DL, and we got shut down by the World Champs. It's not the end of the season.

Carlos has to set a second franchise record to get there. I don't think you can really understand how rough 56 is until you sit down and really root for a player to get there. 56 is is almost unimaginable.
