Actually, with the disrepair it is in right now, it is not far above it.

1) He was in an institution for about 3 years, but they released him finally because he f***ed his brain up so bad that they have no hope of any kind of recovery, even with all the new drugs of today. A graveyard would be the best place for that waste of air. As it is, I have to have him wandering the streets, mumbling to himself, or yelling at people only he can hear and/or see. Oh, and always asking if he can 'borrow' a cigarette. I don't smoke, and wouldn't give him one if I did. 2) Don't even pretend to know me. I give very generously to charities, donate food and clothes, even do some print work (free, or at cost) for a few charity organizations. 3 months ago I donated $3,500 worth of printing to the Greater Chicagoland Area Food Bank to help the homeless and needy. I give, and I give alot. So you both can kiss my ass with your holier-than-thou attitudes. 3) Your arguement about roads and schools has nothing to do with this issue. If you want to argue societal obligations on the whole, then go for it. As far as Social Security is concerned, that fund should not be paying out money to idiots who f***ed themselves up without ever having worked or paid into the system.

Nice find, Stepff. You may want to have the signature authenticated, if the value is really that high. I know of places that do that for autographs of athletes, but not sure who could authenticate that piece!

He already lives 3 houses down from me, you pinhead, or can't you read? For both you, and Texsox, this is the kind of thing that the general public doesn't need to take care of. This is NOT on the same level of taking care of our elderly. Where the f*** does social security get off paying this idiot ANYTHING? He f***ed HIMSELF up, his FAMILY should step in and take care of him. WHy is that MY responsibility? I don't care if he thinks he hears the f***ing Pope, I don't want to be paying dime one to him. Winodj, since you are so f***ing compassionate, why don't you invite him to stay at your place for a week or two? You two can have luch together. His brain functions seem to be on par with yours. :fyou

Thought I might get Quagmire, but I guess the booze-hound in me won out. Which Family Guy character are you? OK, I must be channelling a bit of Chris tonight as well, since I can't get the pic of Brian to work!

I have this asshat 3 houses down, who hears voices. He screwed himself up on drugs when he was about 17, and he can't work or anything, so he gets money every month from social security. WHY?!? The bastard has never worked in his life, and now he sponges off America. I know it isn't like he is getting a million bucks or anything, but I am sure that he isn't the only one getting money for not working, who has never paid a lick into it. This guy is a waste of air. He is but one of many parts to that whole problem. SS2K4, you have it right, it is just like one big pyramid scheme.

AMEN to that! I just want to know my team has a chance to win while I am there to entertain me. The rest is just a bonus! Do I want my team to be in the Series? Hell Yes! Is that the single criteria that decides whether or not I spend my money? Hell no.

It is not Moore's film to offer. Lions Gate (I think that is the production company) owns the distribution rights. Moore can SAY someone can have it for free, but he knows that his words have no meaning. So he looks good for offering something, when in reality, it isn't his to offer. Sinclair's offer to have Kerry on after the showing of the documentary was made, and turned down, by the Kerry camp.
-
Do you have a problem with Matt Stones comments???
EvilMonkey replied to Controlled Chaos's topic in SLaM
I have been saying that for years. If the only reason you are voting is because someone told you to, don't vote. If you don't want to take the time to find our SOMETHING about the issues, you are worthless. Your right to vote isn't worth crap unless you use it, but like anything else, if you don't use it wisely, you have just wasted it. -
Apu, you are right, Carville doesn't claim to beimpartial, but CNN says he is. But as for Bush's cousin, like I asked, why the big deal? Did he have some sway over the election somehow? And if I recall, wasn't it CBS (Dan 'Forger' Rather, I think) that got censured for calling the elections early, promised to never do it again, etc? Let me just add here that I don't thinnk it right for Sinclair to be showing that, at least at this time. I also have alot of problems with Moore and his crap, as well as what all the groups are doings (MoveOn, SBVFT, etc).
-
Wonodj, youmiss the point. All the Republican people you mentioned made no attempt to pass themselves off as 'impartial'. They were Republican, and weren't afraid to say it and let you know it. The fact that Carville can claim to be a fair and impartial analyst is just crap. Get over your Bush hatred for a few moments and just see that little fact. And what is the deal with George Bush's second cousin? He 'called the states'? Did he have some super mind power that magically awarded states to his cousin? He REPORTED on which states went to whom. Why does that matter? Don't be hatin'!

He fired once in the air, to scare people away? I wonder if he realized that his bullet had to land SOMEWHERE. Maybe he ended up shooting an old lady 5 blocks away when the bullet just happened to land? Gravity has a nasty tendancy to make things come back to earth.
-
You are right, he didn't say that, but equating Hannity and Carville on the same plane of importance to the respective parties is just incorrect. Hannity doesn't plan strategy, sit in on meetings, etc., he is a radio commentator and tv host.
-
Hannity is a contributor to the Republican party, not a MEMBER, like Carville. Big difference.

mmmmmmmbeer, I love your avitar. I had a guy that lokoed just like that bowling next to me sunday night. Very scary.

http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/news/WABC_1003...oolteacher.html Middle School Teacher In Trouble Over Presidential Photo? By Ken Rosato (Monmouth Junction-WABC, October 3, 2004) — You might say it is a symbol of the Great American Divide, a teacher putting up a picture of President Bush in the classroom. Some say it is partisanship while others say it is patriotism. Rita Bianco, Parent: "Children should know their president and their first lady!" Parents expressing outrage after a teacher is kicked out of her public school for hanging a picture of President Bush next to pictures of other presidents in her classroom. Shiba Pillai-Diaz, Teacher: "It happened on a small bulletin board near the American flag and also with a poster of the Declaration of Independence." This is Crossroads South Middle School in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. On Thursday, there was a back-to-school night for parents of students. Veteran English teacher Shiba Pillai-Diaz says she was shocked when three parents confronted her. The three, insisting the teacher either add John Kerry's photo to the montage of presidents or remove the Bush photo. When Pillai-Diaz refused, she says the school's vice-principal threatened her job which is an act that has parents here fuming. Paula Sjolund, Parent: "She didn't do anything wrong, and I think that it should have stayed up there." Pillai-Diaz ultimately removed the entire bulletin board and says School Principal Jim Warfel told her she disrupted the school with her "inflammatory politics". She says he then ordered her out of the building. While she says she is a Bush supporter in her personal life, Pillai-Diaz says she keeps politics out of the classroom. Shiba Pillai-Diaz, Teacher: "There was no political intent, nor was there any political content in that photograph nor on the bulletin board." School officials would not talk on camera but insist nobody here has been fired. To that, Ms. Pillai-Diaz asks what does it mean then when your boss asks you to hand over the keys and kicks you out of the building? She also says she is not sure if she'll be returning to school tomorrow.

Yeah, me too, like that big windfarm they wanted to put up off the coast of Mass., except the Kennedy's and other environmental-loving type people in the area decided that it 'was ugly, and ruined their view of the coastline', so it didn't get built. Same problem will happen elsewhere, doesn't matter if it is a refinery, wind farm or solar facility, too many people suffer from NIMBY. I really do want to see some other forms of energy around, because I would like to drive my car without having to pay thru the nose to do so. V-8's suck up lots of gas, especially with my lead foot.

There is an alternative to 294, just go thru the city. If you want to avoid the city, pay the toll. I have mixed feelings about the trucks situation. I have several truck drivers in the family, and independants can get squeezed easily. However, as a regular driver on I-294 from I-394 on up to I-290, I HATE the amount of trucks I have to deal with on a daily basis. Some days, I can't even see other cars, just trucks. Screw the out of state people who don't come here often, I don't care about them. Just let me get to and from work as fast as I can. FYI, the last report I saw had truck rates almost tripling, but offering discounts for trucks driving during non-peak hours. I am all for that. I hate it when half the vehicles I see at 7am are semi's.

Do you have ANYTHING to back that up? I mean, if the documents came from someone in the Republican party, wouldn't we know about it by now? I am sure that Dan, CBS and the Democrats in general would be turning over every stone to find that vast right-wing conspiritor before the election, wouldn't they? And I mean that as a serious question, not as a slap.
-
For Dan you forgot 1a) even though the source was anything but an 'impeachable source'. and 2a) even though others around him told him that they looked false, and probably were false. For George, you forgot 1a) documents were given by the CIA, SUPPOSEDLY one of the worlds best intellegence unit and 1b) was also backed up in his beliefs by a host of other American politicians, including the guy currently running against him. However, Texsox has it right, he should have been fired long ago just for his delivery.

That is assuming they HAVE the scanners. Remember, these are terrorists, not the KGB. Although if word got out that people did have tracking devices implanted in them, I am sure they would/could get them.

While Julio wouldn't take any crap from the Twins, he sucks! I have him on my fantasy team, and while I don't know the exact number of blown saves, it seems to me like he has blown alot. And I mean those .2 IP, 3 walks, 5 runs kind-of innings. Between him and Urbina, my closer ERA has been going sky high. I know he has blown like 4 saves in just september.
-
I think it is about time to use a human Lojack on people over there. Let's get a few criminals (child molesters, etc.) and shove one up there ass when they are knocked out, then let let them loose to be kidnapped. Then we track them to the kidnappers and make sure they never kidnap again. But seriously, with the threat of kidnappings over there, why aren't people wearing or having implanted some kind of tracking device. I understand that if it is too obvious that it can just be removed, but there has to be something small enough to conceal, and still work.
-
You also forgot 8 posters will claim that it is a vast right wing conspiracy to keep people focused on light bulbs instead of the issues. 8 posters will blame Clinton for the bulb burning out. 2 posters will be undecided about the whole thing.

Actually, in many markets, Rush competes with Hannity during the midday hours. In Chicago, Hannity gets rebroadcast at a later time.
