  1. If Fields is the next one to guy (which might be the case now) that means we would've unloaded 3 of our draft pick busts in a span of 2 months.
  2. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 03:12 PM) How about a drink for every RISP left by the Sox??? Or a drink for every bloop, dink hit for the Twinks
  3. Standing pat or trading Wise for Halladay straight up. People never seem to be satisfied.
  4. QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 01:18 AM) Maybe a bit off-topic, but who is then scheduled to pitch Thursday? Going to the game for my 21st birthday.. anyone else gonna be there? I believe the rotation for the Yankees will be Contreras, Floyd, Danks and then Buehrle. If my rotation math is correct.
  5. Who is Chris Rose? I actually don't mind Mark Grace. But I've never heard of the other guy. May have to sync up to Farmio today.

  8. Hopefully, they start selling these at the game:
  9. This is great. First they get DeRosa, now Holliday. What a punch in the gut for the Cubs. However, I still think their pitching is suspect.
  10. I have not heard a peep from them yesterday. I'm sure it was killing them. But who cares. My Sox fan friends (the true baseball fans) were the ones happy and excited.
  11. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 05:28 PM) Not really motivated towards positive or negative emotion on this one. Hopefully, Torres goes down and starts throwing more strikes. Hopefully, Colon doesn't suck. Maybe he'll throw a perfect game.
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 05:04 PM) You know what? All the Rays are giving good interviews, very good sportsmanship. I heard they were on the top step, cheering for him. Very classy group.
  13. I have yet to hear from my Cub fan friends. But F*** 'em. I didn't say anything when that clown Zambrano pitched a no-no.
  14. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 04:05 PM) Keep this list growing: *No Hitter *Perfect Game *Hit a Homerun *World Series Champion *Won a game in the World Series *Saved a game in the same World Series *Started an All-Star Game *3 Time All-star and growing. . . . . what else is there Sox fans: Hopefully, you can add 20-game winner to that list this year, too.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:42 PM) No, Verlander's was later in the year. That's right.
  16. QUOTE (klaus kinski @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:39 PM) Probably the only pitcher with a No no , perfect game, and World Series save That will all be included on his plaque in the HoF
  17. Congrats, Mark. Not only the 18th perfect game in MLB history, only the 2nd in Sox history. Wise's catch will be seen for years.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:59 PM) 100 pitches for Mark. Does Jenks get the 9th? I think this would be a good game for Jenks to get back on track...............LOL.
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:49 PM) Sea is an 87 percent favorite to win the game Sox are a 99% favorite Lol.
