Any chance the trades somehow spark this team to go on a tear?
Doubt it. Nothing else seems to work. Maybe try a beanball war next.

Nick Blackburn would only have 6 k's through 4 innings against us. He's been **** since the all-star break. He came into tonight's game with an 8.22 ERA. I don't know what else to say, but something has to be done. It's probably a combination of our advance scouts, Greg Walker, and the dinosaurs we have in the middle of this line-up.
5 runs in 4 games is unacceptable at any level in baseball. Something needs to be done before the end of the season, possibly before the end of this road trip.
It'll get worse tomorrow. Some guy named Manship ? is pitching tomorrow. It'll be the game of his career.
Per Heyman's twitter:
Konerko and Dotel are available, too.
"an annoyed #chisox gm ken willliams has let teams know dye, konerko, thome, linebrink, dotel, others are available."

Bleh. Thankfully, no Rios. He's done sh*t since he's been here. Good thing I'll be out of town this weekend, so I won't witness the debacle in Yankee Stadium.
Ozzie said in the paper that he wanted another catcher to help Castro and AJ. So probably Armstrong or Flowers.
The others are up in the air. Probably Fields, Betemit, Nunez, etc. The ones that have been up this year.
I'm not scared. This is what the season is all about right here. I'm tired of playing/losing to the Royals/Indians/Orioles. Those teams are annoying and love playing spoilers. The Sox usually do well against better teams. See Angels, Yankees, Rays series. This is going to be an interesting road trip, to say the least.

We seem to have a few IT people on the board here. I'm in the business as well.

Dude, remember that guy's head falling off when he robbed that homer?

LOL yeah. Or the guy catching a pop up getting hit by a car.
Reggie Jackson went nuts in that game.
