I think if KW was really in win now he would do what it takes to acquire Roberts/Bedard... ship whatever prospects besides Fields.... than take 1 year flyers on id say Colon and Prior. Not saying I would agree with that approach but that would be only way I could give this team a chance of contending next season.

Yeah, I used to love Hawk... but this past season I found him very very annoying... I like DJ though and definitely wouldnt mind if he stayed.

I really think Gavin can be something special... I kind of like him more than Danks almost.

To be fair defensive stats are skewed for the patriots by their amazing offense. Teams are almost forced to abandon the run because they fall behind so quickly and go to pass only... which leads to more interceptions and sacks also makes them 1 dimensional. Also, I think his point was that the Jags are better suited for a game in poor conditions. And with their running back tandem plus I think sturdy defense that could be true to a point... although this season I would never bet against the Pats to win.

I hope the plan is once we are out of it by allstar break we have a firesale. I mean getting rid of everyone possible... Konerko, Cabrera, Crede, Dye, Pierznski if he has value, Jenks, Contreras, Vazquez, and Buehrle. Obviously, we arent going to be able to unload allll those players, but I would definitely want them all on the market if we arent in contention.

only difference is they have the best offensive player or atleast 2nd best in all of baseball. I would hate to rebuild while having a player of Pujols calibur on my team.

Lol, I think Rich Rodriguez was probably the best guy you can hire to any new job. I actually think in the longrun this will end up being a better move than even Les Miles would have been. Leave it to an OSU fan to think its a bad hire lol.

Dont really want to spend too much, I was thinking something practical like a used Corolla, Camry, Accord, maybe Galant... something along those lines. If we can land Roberts and than someone like Hamilton/Patterson I will actually be kind of optimistic going into next year. But right now, I still think our offense is lacking.

I guess as long as Maria Sharapova and Scarlett Johanson are still intact all is well

I would like our lineup a lot more with Roberts and Patterson... who I think will put up similar numbers to Rowand and be more cost effective. Still, even with the revamped lineup, the way our pitching is looking and the division we are in... its going to be a tough season.

Speaking of the Patterson name.. is Corey a f/a or is he still signed with the Orioles? I wouldnt mind taking a flyer on him, he could even leadoff for us.

dogs and cats are moreso held to a double standard simply because they are household pets. And unlike a mouse/gerbil the cat/dog is allowed to go around the house freely and cuddle with you etc. Than as far as some birds/animals never allowed to be shot that actually has a reason behind it... to avoid extinction of a species. Im sure 50 years from now if those birds/animals are thriving than they will become fair game. And as for cows, go back to point 1 and tell me how many people have pet cows in their house?
