  1. isnt Simmons a restricted F/A....and Dalembert doesnt really supply that low post go to guy. Bogut.... now that would be interesting. While he isnt pleasant to look at he is a joy to watch play his game.
  2. im guessing if only 1 start is needed one of our lovely guys from last year will do it. Stewart, Diaz(if healthy), or maybe Hermason although id like him to stay in the bullpen for the whole season.
  3. well if you have your wish.... and les say we trade Curry to atlanta for their 1st rounder... and resign Chandler i hope. What would you do this offseason to not only find a low post scorer but find a guy who can shoot more and Hinrich shoot less.
  4. well i have to admit i dont have cable..... so maybe he shoots better while playing on comcast sports net (although i have seen maybe 5-8 games at a friends house) but dont worry comcast guy is coming Saturday in time for me to get it b4 the white sox season.... something i cant live without now tell me who that chick is already in your signature
  5. im sorry but i watch the games and he does have bad shot selection...like when on transition he stops and takes a long jumper even when we have numbers and more so than less misses the shot for example.
  6. idonno who should take more shots but someone needs to step up and take some more. I actually try not to get to dissapointed with this current team given the fact that its such a big turnaround. So this year i can live with Hinrich's poor as FG% and bad shot selection and the amazing amount of turnovers we commit. Its just a problem id like to see being fixed as the season progresses or at worse case by next season.
  7. did i say i wanted JC back instead of Hinrich......... im just saying he needs to take les shots per game because it isnt helping the team on offense. also tell me who that chick is in your signature Qwerty
  8. no but he still leads the team in shots attempted at 14.6 a full 2 ahead of Gordons 12.6.... and im sorry for all you Hinrich lovers but when you lead the team in shots taken but are only making 38.5% of them that is not helping the team. also on 3 pointers Kirk is barely shooting at a higher percentage than Duhon :headshake the one thing i will give Kirk on his offense is he usually always nails the shot on 2nd chance points
  9. yes Hinrich hustles but i still dont see how that makes it ok for his poor shot selection. So your saying if Crawford hustled more and shot it 50 times making only 10 it would be ok because he hustled?
  10. please.... was there ever a question who the better offensive player of the two were between Crawford and Hinrich . Im not arguining the fact that Hinrich is clearly a much better defender and passer than Crawford but he shoots way 2 much at times and he misses a lot more than he should for shooting so much. Id just like to see him take that extra pass at times or when we are on the run instead of stopping and shooting a jumper set up the offense or if Gordon is in let him take the jumper.
  11. yeah Hinrich busts his ass but hit shot selection needs to improve. At times on offense its like Crawford is still on the team, except Crawford is better offensively.
  12. he sucks because after a year or two the players are going to have had enough of him and just stop listening. Also his little battle with EC is beyond stupid. If he wants to be such a hard ass it would be nice instead of spending it all on Curry(who does deserve some of it) but he has Hinrich fire away. Id like to see him call out Hinrich just once
  13. Quincy Carter would be an ideal QB because with him if Rex goes down we would still get some decent production from the QB position. Hutchinson is a human target and Tim Hasselbeck... i saw him last year and lets just say he is barely a number 2 in my opinion.
  14. wow that would be awesome to get a 1st rounder for Skiles. He like said in the article isnt the type of Coach that will last especially in todays NBA... now that he helped us id like us to get a better floor coach... a guy who can manage a game better.
  15. we should trade him to the devils rays so Robby Alomar can retire a white sox like Emmit did with dallas

    Hawk

while Hawk can be repetetive at times and other times be a homer.... i for one cant imagine a white sox game w/out him
  17. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 21, 2005 -> 02:50 PM) Call me crazy. B-Mac holds his own, KW tries to sell Milwaulkee on the idea of trading Jose Contreras plus half of his remaining salary plus Brian Anderson and another prospect for Ben Sheets. And no I don't think Jose could handle being a closer. We all know what he's like with runners on base. Not a good situation for a closer or a reliever in general. how about Jose Contreras plus Jon Garland for Ben Sheets and maybe instead of out top 3 prospects they would take Honel or like Chris Young instead... a course we would pay some of Contreras contract but Sheets Buehrle Garcia B-Mac El Duque that would be amazing. lol and we would give them back Travis Hinton too
  18. yeah as bad as it is that Buehrle has got injured... especially him of all our starters im kind of excited to get a chance to see B-Mac face some major league competition that would be kind of cool.
  19. even if CT Scans show that there is no break i wouldnt mind if he sat out a start or 2 just to make sure a break doesnt happen.
  20. Heh while this really sucks i really wanted to see B-Mac given a shot anyways... even if he sucks i think he is the kind of guy who will just look at it as another challenge to overcome. As for Buehrle i rather he miss a couple starts and than be 100% than start the opener even if he is 90%... its just not worth it. 2 starts is nothing.
  21. yeah the ads are totally retarded....all i know with a restaurant upgrade and a seat upgrade to go along with 1 soda and peanut vendor had me making a million per game in september.... i think the extra crowd helped me win too because i ended up going 15-4 like in the month winning the division by 1 game.
  22. Jon Garland is a consistent 12 game winner and is only like 25-26 also doesnt cost much at all. and as far as giving up on him thats just ridiculous... they didnt bump Garland to the 5th spot they just finally figured out that to succeed you need 5 starters.
  23. i think someone is looking way 2 much into stats
  24. yeah an ace is a guy that would be a number 1 in almost every team.... only exception to that rule was last year in Boston with Pedro and Schilling. but for Buerhle as an example he would be a number 2 on the following teams. Red Sox Yankees Toronto Twins Oakland Atlanta Florida Mets possibly Nationals(dont know either him or Livan would be the 1) Cubs Astros Brewers Pirates possibly Cards(depends really how Mulder bounces back from that horrible last month) Padres Giants
  25. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Mar 18, 2005 -> 11:00 PM) Braden Looper Mike Dejean Orber Moreno Scott Strickland Matt Ginter Felix Heredia Dae-Sung Koo When your bullpen looks like this, you need all of the help that you can get. The Mets have a terrific offense and a pretty good starting staff, but that bullpen is enough to disqualify them from postseason contention right now. Is there a dumber organization in baseball given the amount of money they spend? I can't think of any outside of maybe the Rangers. id think they would qualify as the worse franchise given the knowledge that the rangers actually realized their mistakes after chan ho and A-Rod and have taken the build from within aproach to making their team and being successful at it. Back to the Koch issue though i dont see how its a bad signing really, he was once a successful pitcher and maybe he might regain his velocity and if not its only a minor league contract not going to hurt anyone.
