valdez isnt even a sure thing to make the team... i think pablo ozuna has beat him out for that final spot.

the only reason Contreras has put up more wins than losses is because he came from the yankees.... not because he was a good pitcher. Our offense this year isnt built to score 10 runs in stretches like last year so it means we need consistency out of our SP's and Contreras is anything but that.

i can see it happening to Buerhle, Garcia, and Garland(have a feeling this year), as far as contreras goes i dont think so he is 2 inconsistent and has given no reason to believe that will change. El Duque if he stays healthy has potential to win 15 games too but that would only give us 4 not 5 and thats being optimistic.

Illini,Wake,Syracuse, and North Carolina. switch that instead of illini going with oklahoma state.

Rusty Greer was pretty good when he is healthy i dont know about that one.

just had my best win of the season, Peavy had his worse outing of the year giving up 5 runs in 7 innings but my RP's threw 2 scoreless innings. Bottom of the 9th and im up to bat down 5-2. Vernon Wells hits a single Mark Teixera Walks Miguel Cabrera grounds into a would be double play but Teix breaks it up Joe Mauer hits a single Vernon Wells scores from third, Cabrera advances to 2nd. Victor Martinez strikes out on a nasty fastball David Wright hits a 3 run game ending HR, on a 3-0 count had a feeling Nen would give me a good pitch to hit. Nen was their closer.... when he came in im like NOOO he is apposed to be retired.

Reed is going to really have it good this year too.... hitting after Ichiro and than after you theirs guys like Beltre, Sexson, and Boone..... he going to get some good pitches to hit.

B-Mac went from super underated to being one way overated all of a sudden it seems..... kind of reminds me of Beltran at the begining of last year going from underated to the most overated player in MLB.

i think it depends really, Duhon only signed a 1 year deal with us. So if Duhon wants a lot more money than we are willing to give him i have no doubt Paxson will just bring back Jay Will.

while a lot of people wanted Rowand to bat 3rd, i think most knew he wouldnt and thought he would bat 6th, now it looks like he will bat 7th which is the true surprise. And i think most agree B-Mac will only get the 1st call if we are deep enough into the season already that it wouldnt make since to make Hermason our 5th starter.

yeah i play on all star too 16-8.... hitting sucks but let me tell you the best guys to hit are like pierre, ichiro, crawford types.
