With Chris Williams prob done for season really need carimi back soon, question would be if Louis goes to lg or rg with Spencer obviously playing the other. -
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 10, 2011 -> 06:43 AM) I think you are the only one making Joe Paterno out to be a child molester. We all know he didnt do anything to those boys. We also know he didnt do anything for those boys. If he didn't witness it firsthand I'm not sure what exactly he was supposed to do, I mean yeah its tragic but it really was up to the eyewitness to report the crime or the AD of the school once Paterno relayed the the information to him. I think it's disgusting and all that but a lot of innocent people have had their lives ruined by something like this that I wouldn't be comfortable unless I knew the info was accurate as in saw it myself, the victim/attacker told me, or on camera.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 9, 2011 -> 08:16 AM) Carimi still out for Lions game. As long as no one on the line gets hurt, this isn't that bad. Anyone goes down though and it's Omiyale time. I think omiyale only if a tackle gets hurt, they'd prob use backup guard if one of them went down over moving Louis and putting in omiyale. I'm glad Carimi is probably back in near future but it does suck to breakup a group that seemingly is starting to gel, especially the right side. -

Also even if Carimi is healthy I don't think you can change the O-line for next weeks game. Detroit dline is similar to the Eagles with being a great group and the wide set DE's. Even Webb has played well the last 3 weeks. -

Now that bennett is back I never want to see sazenbacher again, how can someone drop so many passes with the amount he has been targeted. It should primarily be Roy, knox, and Bennett. -

QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 4, 2011 -> 03:53 PM) Bengals D is good, we knew that going into the season. Bears fans are the last fans that should rub strength of schedule into team analysis. I like the bengals at that line. I"LL GUARANTEE THAT LINE WITH NO CONSEQUENCES. Bears faced Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Mathew Stafford, Cam Newton, and Josh Freeman. That is a pretty good list of QB's and they only face Vick, Stafford, and Rivers next..... -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 02:27 PM) I dont consider Ginn a WR. He's a KR/PR that was drafted WAYYYYYY too high. Jenkins has been a pretty solid 2-3 WR in the NFL for years and Gonzalez was good until he broke in half. The post that was funny was "is this another white OSU receiver" when really Dane is the only one. Jekins would be a below avg 2 wr, but yeah he is ok besides him though osu wr's are crap. Kind of weird a school with constant top recruits has less starter quality wr's tan a bottom feeder like the illini. -

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Oct 30, 2011 -> 11:53 PM) Tebow is all hype, like so many other college star QBs that amount to crap in the NFL, they'll be lots more after him. BTW, whatever happened to sure thing Matt Leinart? He sure looked good against the Bears, I'm positive if he went out a year earlier and was the first overall or top5 pick he prob be starting in league now or at least had significant starting time. -

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 30, 2011 -> 10:41 PM) I don't think he can make it anywhere. He's not some super athlete. He's super athletic for a QB. He can run the wildcat formation, be the backup QB I think. With enough experience and what he brings to table he should be fine in that role. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 25, 2011 -> 06:51 PM) Appears was chosen because we're detecting these thousands of other planetary systems with Kepler using light from stars. And we're detecting thousands. And if you do basic statistics, the numbers out there must be enormous. Just ecause we don't know everything doesn't mean what we've already established isn't incredible. I never said space and what we know of it wasn't incredible, just that our limited knowledge of everything makes it impossible to say other life must exist outside of our solar system.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 27, 2011 -> 05:15 PM) Far from an Angelo guy but Hunter was a borderline below average LB. STFU Hunter was a key role player on our team and he knew his role, that being said we used to always hear how smart he was. Why blast him for saying what everyone here is saying, should everybody on sox talk stfu? -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 25, 2011 -> 08:57 AM) And thanks to the Kepler space telescope...we can already say no, that isn't the case. Our solar system appears to be just another of trillions. Planetary systems with rocky inner worlds in the habitable zone seem pretty much the norm for 2nd and 3rd generation stars. Well the key word is appears, so much unknown when it comes to space we can easily be missing something. Hell we don't even know much about our own world to pretend to know much outside of it.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 25, 2011 -> 05:47 PM) Who do you think is getting pulled from the rotation when Carimi returns then? I understand why they'd stand by Webb...I just can say the same thing about the other 4 in their lineup as well. I think most likely Spencer is backup and Louis slides back at RG. But, the line would prob be best served with Webb on the bench even though he has improved since the Detroit game. Even with the Bears improved running game, up the gut they havent had much success and according to Tice against Atlanta Lance Louis was dominating so be interesting how that turns out. -
Frank Thomas: I could be the White Sox hitting coach.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 25, 2011 -> 02:45 PM) I would say that in this particular position, if the person were to come off as too much of an asshole, he would likely alienate several players and wind up failing. Greg walker comes off as an asshole to me and everybody seems to love the guy? -

At least this season, I don't think Carimi is going to do any better than what Louis gave us the last 2 games. The question is does Louis go back to rg or maybe switch him to lt and gets Webb off the line. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 25, 2011 -> 08:51 AM) The reason I said that we'll figure it out in my lifetime is...I think there probably is life in the oceans on some of the Galilean/Saturnian satellites, and there probably was life existing at one point on Mars. Just a question of getting there and finding the evidence. 2-3-4 occurrences of independent "Life" in one solar system makes a pretty compelling case that it's not very unique, if you can find them. Or maybe factors exist in our solar system that aren't typical from the usual?

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 23, 2011 -> 03:10 PM) The acc is really bad but Clemson is really good. I was wrong about Wiscy going unbeaten but I still think we're going to have quite the clusterf*** with a bunch of undefeateds at the end of the year... Really? I think only winner of Alabama/lsu, Boise, and possibly Stanford finish undefeated. Boise would be lucky if they get to face the loser of the two sec teams in that scenario. -

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 21, 2011 -> 08:39 PM) Respect is one thing, being good at his job is another. Norv Turner seems to get a lot of work in the NFL. He sucks. Sucks as a head coach, think he is a great Offensive Coordinator or QB coach. Not sure what Greg Walker is good at. -

I'd have to imagine a safety or corner would be the bears first pick. If a real beast wr/olb fall to them I could see that being taken too.
