The point that i'm making is I don't care if Davis hits .050 or lower. If his defense is better then Burke's at this point until we aquire a better catcher Davis should be the one splitting time with Sandy. Just give him one series! It's not like the catcher position has carried this team offensively.

I disagree the cardinals will own the national league anyway....

I just don't get why Davis hasn't been given a shot... I mean at least give him a few starts to see what he can do... At worst he's a defensive improvment over Burke and the offense is a wash...

I have to disagree... E Lo really wasn't all that bad until he ran up against some of the better offensive teams around. I expect E Lo to feast on these scrub teams and then come up huge down the stretch in the playoff's. I think E Lo will be more then solid, It's Shoey i'm really worried about...

Finally it was our turn to beat up on a pathetic chump team and it was fun game to watch. Glad to see Jon turning it around too... It was a little sad seeing Miguel on the wrong bench.... :headshake OHH WELL GO SOX! ......TWINS AND CUBS LOSE ALSO.... WHAT A GREAT NIGHT.... Cubs are now 7 back... Think they will be in a selling mode soon... They have a pitcher that may be decent one of these days.... Mark something...

I just hope Ozzie doesn't use this as an excuse to take AROW out of the lineup. Perez has been clutch but AROW has been too hot lately to just be sat on the bench. Not only that but the defense just doesn't even compare in CF. AROW needs to be the starter...

I don't care if we get a great offensive catcher... I just want a guy who can be decent defensively behind the plate... If he can consistantly hit above .250 then thats just gravy... I say give Ben Davis a shot before we panic and and overpay for a catcher... He can't do any worse then Burke at this point.

Sorry Sonix but I disagree... Losing Franks OBP is going to hurt us alot more. Frank is more valuable because he sees alot more pitches... Frank is the White Sox and I just hope that he isn't out very long at all...

AROW needs to be starting in CF... He was great nearly all game, from the Triple in the first to driving in Joe he has earned the starting job. I am glad we have a guy on the bench who can be clutch late though...

I agree... Diaz needs to just be given the job and given time to work things out. Show's luck has run out and he needs to either be sent down {and hope someone claims his stubborn ass off of waviers} or sent to the pen. Either way I don't want to see any more of Show. I honestly don't believe he was ever hurt... I think that the Organization didn't want to be embarassed and wanted to have an excuse for losing to the Cubs at home. It was only a bonus that Diaz pitched a solid game and Zambrano was rocked. Now he's back and getting another chance and the fact remains he has just lost it....

The Sox will be fine... I saw this coming though. I'm a skepic though I never thought that Show was hurt to begin with... I'd much rather let Diaz establish himself then let a career lefty long reliever lose us a s*** load of games because he has dreams of being a starting pitcher. I just got home... All I have to say is that I'm glad I sold my tickets that I had to this game... Seriously though I think Shoey needs to go back on the DL and stay there *Wink, Wink* Either that or he needs to go to the bullpen so we can get Cotts back into the AAA starting rotation where he belongs. I'd much rather have Diaz or Rauch over Show right now, even though I think what we really need is some kind of a trade...

I agree Air Dale Willie needs to just be told again the second base job is his and to stop worring about it. And that assure him that we won't just try to throw him back into CF. Willie will be fine if he plays consistantly instead of this sit on the bench for three days after he gets hot. AROW is the same story, he's hot yet he can't get a start to save his life because we have to be White Flag Gload out there. I'm just getting really sick of losing games because Gload has to play RF.

It has become painfully obvious that the best lineup without Maggs is Rowand in CF and Perez in RF. What the hell has gload done to warrent screwing up that rythmn. I don't ever want to see Gload in RF again because we have lost EVERY game gload has started in RF. I mean Ozzie cannot be that stupid as to not to see that Gload in RF is killing this team.
