Anyone who has actually watched a Sox game this year cannot honestly say that they don't feel alot more comfortable when a ball is hit into CF when Rowand is out there then Perez, Harris, or Gload. Rowand is the best defensive CF we have. He needs to be left there.

We will survive without Thomas. However I can't see us going deep into the playoff's unless that Carl Everett trade happens

Well I just think that Willie seems like he's more willing to do the little things. Juan seems to just close his eyes and hope for the best. That swing just makes me cringe as well. Plus Willie is a better defensive second basemen.

While we're at it why don't we just bail Jose Canseco out of jail. Seriously Everett wouldn't be that bad as long as he passes a physical and has no problems about being a DH.

Just looking forward to seeing if we can come back and split this series. That would be huge for us right now.

Sorry but I disagree. AROW needs to be in CF everyday and Willie Harris needs to be at second base every day. Uribe is just too interested in swinging for a HR every time and I trust Harris alot more to be willing to do the little things. Willie Harris is a fantastic defensive second basemen. As a centerfielder he is a fantastic defensive second basemen. AROW is the best option we have right now in CF. Plus he's hitting .290 plus. What more could we expect from him.

The entire point is that he will come cheap. I say go for it and get him as soon as possible.

Seriously why not. He comes cheap and could most likely be had for that minor leaguer we got for Koch. Seriously though the guy was clutch for us last year and as long as he can pass a physical and we are 100% sure he is healthy let him come and see if he can get hot in the second half at the Cell.

No way... While Arizona would like us to give them a great major league centerfielder and a guy who will eventually be a #2 starter (Especially in the national league.) KW would need to be shot if he made this deal. First off who replaces Aaron's defense in CF. I sure don't want to see Timo out there everyday and Gload can't even figure out RF. I don't want to rely on having to trade for a CF afterwards because the other GM's will sense our desperation and make us pay through the nose. Second Jon Garland will give us at least 15 win's this year and Show isn't getting any better. So we'd essentially maybe gain 2 wins and then still have to find a 5th starter.

Maybe our park will be more power friendly for him. At least he wouldn't cost us much in terms of prospects. Plus he's hitting .678 for the month of June in the Video Game i'm playing

Boy Borchard hasn't even played for a whole week straight and already people are calling for his head. :headshake This is only one Series and at least KC is getting their revenge against the Twinkees

Lets just get Carl Everett. He's wouldn't have to play defense and he'd come a whole lot cheaper then Beltran. He couldn't replace Franks OBP but at least he'd have some power.

I'm not worried at all about this. We are slumping because we are missing one of our key peices. For all of you Big Hurt haters on here even you have to admit that when he is in the lineup he sees more pitches and thus the hitters in front of him see some better pitches to hit. I do think that Ozzie needs to make one lineup and stick with it. He needs to choose Uribe or Harris and then let them start everyday. It doesn't help when they are both slumping to be on the bench every other day. We just need to go and try to salvage this series.

So does this mean KW has stopped being selfish and is letting him get the surgury. If it wasn't because of his trying to avoid Frank having surgury we would have him back a whole week sooner.

On Sports Center then showed that catch as a nominee but they never showed the throw afterward. I didn't even know it had happened till I got on here.

I wasn't able to see last nights game nor will I be able to see tonights game because it's on WCIU but it did bug me to see Timo on ESPN making his "Web Gem" nominee catch when it was a ball that AROW could of easily of made it too on his feet. Hopefully Ozzie lets AROW start in CF from now on because he is hot and he deserves to play. He is also the best defensive CF we have.

No offense but this is just the biased media taking another quote out of context to make Frank look bad. For one thing the recommended course of treatment was to stay off the ankle for about a week while the shot has a chance to take effect, how do we know that isn't what he was doing. If Frank laying down somewhere else is going to help him get better faster then sitting, standing, and walking out in the dugout then I say let him stay home and rest.
