Ohh please... I'm sure the Arizona GM would love AROW just by himself. Great defensive CF already that is young, can hit .290+ hit 20+ HR's and drive in about 80+ RBI's when put into the right place. The point is that KW can not just give up on him. He's going to put up these numbers somewhere it might as well be for us.

I just wish KW would of stopped being of selfish. Frank wanted the surgury from what I read and KW stopped him from getting hit and wanted him to wear that damn boot first, thus wasting time. If he has to have the surgury and he misses an extra couple of weeks KW has no one to blame but himself. He should of just let him have the damn surgury.

All I know is that I don't care who we trade for RJ as long as we keep Willie Harris, Aaron Rowand, and Juan Uribe. These guys are going to be our starters for the next few years and will end up being the new core eventually. Although I have to say the the one true untouchable has to be Aaron Rowand, we just can't replace his defense in CF this year and given that he will hit about .280+ by the end of the year that is not that bad. I also don't want to give up Joe Crede either because he still has plenty of upside to him.

I would love to get Randy Johnson just as long as Aaron Rowand, Timo Perez, Willie Harris, Juan Uribe, and Joe Crede are not traded and as long as Aaron Rowand continues to be the starting CF, which is a job he has earned.

The point is Beltran has no motivation to do anything here. I don't want him and it would ruin the team chemistry. You have no idea what his attitude was over there either. Either way now he has Scott Boras in his ear which will make anyone more selfish then they usually would be. Just to prove my point how many World Series Rings did AROD win the Rangers? NONE! Because trying up your payroll to sign one player in NEVER a good thing. Especially when you have a player putting up great numbers while doing it with heart and hustle already in that position. Hustle and heart is what made the Marlins and Angels the world champs. I'd rather have a team full of Aaron Rowands then one Carlos Beltran!

I don't want to make ANY move that ruins team chemistry and takes a player out of a position where they are currently performing WELL. If we're going to make a trade it needs to be for a SP, bullpen help, or a catcher. WE DON'T NEED NOMAR OR BELTRAN...

This is what the REAL Beltran would do.... "I'm Carlos Beltran, i'm better then all of you and better then the team itself. I won't be here next year so I have no excuse to try that hard and I don't care if you losers ever win a world championship because i'll be a Yankee next year." Compare that to AROW's numbers he will but up and his hustle and desire to win here and that makes this move insane... Someone said that Houston was 6-10 with Beltran, they are not a bad team and he was such a me player he was able to put the nail in that coffin in a matter of weeks. We could never sign him, he will get more then he's worth, and it would ruin the chemistry of this team. NO MORE CHEMISTRY = NO MORE OZZIE BALL! I can't believe you all want to give up the farm for a ME player. AROW is doing great in CF and you just want to give up on him. I'd be happy if Davis could even hit .200 and I think he given consistant starts he could easily accomplish that... Burke just isn't good enough defensively to warrent all of this playing time. If I see him drop one more ball at the plate after a near perfect throw I think i'm going to scream

How about we give this kid Ben Davis a shot before we just overpay. He was a top prospect for a reason...
