Where in the hell do you we play him? The outfield is set...Get over it
-
I think it's because Ozzie has him so scared to screw up that if he does he'll be on the bench for another 2 weeks so Juan's batting average can drop another 30 points. I don't care at this point if he runs or not as long as he gives us performances like he did last night but I agree that he should be stealing more bases.
-
Well Politte was great. Cotts suprisingly wasn't that bad. Jackson I have no expectations of anymore. Adkins hadn't pitched in forever and I blame some of his struggles on inactivity. All in all I really don't think the bullpen was that bad either.

Who cares...

I think Harris proved why he should be allowed to start everyday tonight. He is willing to do the little things. Forget the Miles/Uribe debate we need the Big Willie Style show
-
This was just fun to watch. All I know is that Harris better be starting at 2B from now on because I think he proved tonight that he is willing to do the little things to help this team out. I can't help but think that if Uribe was out there instead of 3 walks it would of been 3 K's. Carl is also offically back and AROW is still the man.

Uribe needs to not start for at least 2 weeks and have Willie be playing every day. 2B-Harris CF-Rowand DH/RF-Ordonez LF- Lee DH/RF- Everett 1B- Konerko SS-Valentin 3B-Crede C-Davis/Alomar {With Burke off the major league roster}

Put yourself in Willie's shoes. When he was hitting .300 and doing everything right and Uribe was fading fast Willie was the one who ended up getting benched and jerked around (like being put in CF). I don't think that it's any secret that Uribe is one of Ozzie's favorite players. Thus it puts pressure of Willie to be twice as good as Uribe when he's on the field. Ozzie needs to realiaze that Juan isn't going to do the little things and is going to continue trying to be the next AROD. He needs to tell Willie that the job is his and get him to relax. When Willie was relaxed he was stealing bases and hitting over .300. It's no wonder that he isn't running either because if you had that much pressure on you not too screw up then you wouldn't be taking too many chances either. Juan needs to be the bench player we brought he here to be. Willie when confident and relaxed is the lead off hitter we need.

It's time for BabyBerroa to take a week off

The point is that Harris needs to be in the lineup everyday. At least Willie tries to do the little things. He did nothing but bust his ass for this team and hit .300 doing it and he ended up getting benched and screwed around. Then he slumps because he's not getting regular playing time and people act like it's his fault. Willie deserves to be our second basemen and I think with regular playing time he can get back up to .290+. I'm not sure the same can be said for Uribe . -
If they moved Everett into CF I think that we'd need to start the fire Ozzie thread early. I mean there is no way that Rowand deserves to be but on the bench for someone who should be the full time DH.

And I live here.....

I don't get it so does that mean that she had her female parts removed and then put back That seems like it would just be really freaky to me -
Saw a peice on CNN and just made me think of this ?. Just wanted to see other people's opinion on it.

There is no way he wins this lawsuit. This does make me want to do this though, :puke

Will Ben Davis ever get a fair shot?
AngelasDaddy0427 replied to AngelasDaddy0427's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Davis is better defensively. Thats the whole point the kid deserves a shot. Being stuck behind a b**** like Dan Wilson sure as hell didn't help him. -
I voted no but it's not really the announcers I hate more as it is the formats of the broadcast. Sometimes i'll be out somewhere and I want to know what the sox are doing. I'll go to the car and try to get a score and it just seems to take forever. Also I don't really like how they always seem to have to throw out ad's at the weirdest times. I know it's Radio and they have to make their money somehow but it could wait until the commercials I think. rolleyeyes.gif

If we are going to bother getting a lefty starter just get Wilson Alverez. He could definately do better then Shoe out of the 5th spot and would be a better bullpen arm in the playoff's.
-
If the Tigers somehow won the central division that would be one of the greatest turn around stories in history. I wonder who would play Greg Norton in the movie. I hope it doesn't happen though .

I'm just glad that we are in first place. I thought for sure we would be in second place but good news I guess.
-
Well hopefully all this talk will finally come to an end. There is no way we can afford to give up Garland who will be a mainstay in our rotation for years and our starting CF who we would have no chance in hell of replacing. There are better options out there...
-
The Oakland series is over. It can only get better from here. Lets just hope that we don't end up having to play them in the offseason. and GO SOX!
-
I agree I think this could all have been avoided had he been pulled after the fifth inning. The guy was already shaky and i'd of much rather that Politte, Marte, and Shingo got some work in because it would of meant a White Sox victory.
-
There is no way that his punk ass is worth that. He should be grateful if we offer him another minor league contract after the season is over.
-
I agree he left a cookie right over the plate and it screw us over. Then again I can't really say he pitched horrible. The only people who did anything offensively were AROW and Jose. Thats pretty bad.
-
NO NO NO! I am not about to give the best White Sox CF since Lance Johnson for not even half a season of Carlos Beltran. Then we have to overpay for a CF in the offseason. This is especially stupid when you figure they will both hit about the same .280+ over the course of the year.
