Can someone explain to me what exactly we'd do with Mike Lowell... It's not like he deserves to take playing time from Crede this year... His offense sucks this year.. his defense not that great... Why not get someone who can play SS?

I never thought i'd say this about this team this year but they really could miss the playoffs... Not only is it possible but if they continue to play like this it's likely... The fact is that Ross Gloads bad defense was the Anchor that brought this team down... Last night it was Willie Harris and Juan Uribe... As for Willie and Ross, AAA sounds good... Uribe.... well he can be a bench player.. get a decent SS... without these three losers this is a sweep... .if these three are allowed to play in any meaningful way that not only is it likely we will miss the playoffs, but a certainty...

Well Ross Gload just printed his ticket back to Charlotte the moment a deal is made... Ozzie all ready didn't like him and the fact that he single handedly lost us this game makes the deal sealed... Those are the kind of plays and kill careers and I hope until Frank comes back that he doesn't get much playing time at all...

I thought AJ was an arbitation eligible player... not an option..

I'm sorry but some of you need to look at your calendars.... This isn't 1995... it's not 1998.... This is 2005... AROW is the superior player when it comes to speed, defense, contact, and just about any other thing that ozzie ball is all about... Not only is he superior but it's not even close... Add to that the fact that Griffey's contract will be like an anchor on the payroll that will bring this team down for the next 20 years and this becomes a deal that KW would have to be stoned out of his mind if even do... Griffey hitting a few extra HR's doesn't guaruntee us a world series.. sorry to break it to you guys but it's true... If you think that an ego like Griffey replacing the hardest working gridner on the team isn't going to negatively affect chemistry on a team that is nothing without chemistry your nuts....
