Am I the only one who thinks this move makes absolutely no sense? We are shorthanded enough on offense as it is with Crede out, so instead of bringing up an IF to give us some much needed depth we bring up a pitcher... I sure how KW isn't stupid enough to go into the Double header with only 5 infielders on the roster. Ohh and because i'm sure i'll hear it... NO GLOAD DOESN'T COUNT!!! WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER 1B... We need someone to backup SS, 2B at least... Either Lopez, Harris, Norton even... Anyway glad this guys getting a shot at the majors but KW seems to have short handed this team offensively...

Why would you even suggest this? Uribe could play 3B... start Nomar at SS.. Besides that why would the Cubs trade him to us.. And what the hell is he doing playing SS in the first place... First they ruin Corey Patterson by trying to make him a leadoff hitter and now this... They have way too big of a habit of trying to fit the square pegs in the round hole...
