I absolutely love this deal on two conditions... A) Juan "Pods black twin brother" Peirre stays as far away from the White Sox as possible... and B) Brian Anderson is allowed to adjust to CF the full year no matter what he does offensively (because he'll be the closest thing we have to a Rowand defensively).

Anderson is the only responsible choice... If one more uneducated bandwagon fan brings up Juan Peirres name i'm going to puke... He has no place here... At all.. Anderson is the only option... Hell if they want a speed guy to get bad routes on balls and have balls fly over his head then put Willie Harris in CF... It will save us 5 mil dollars..

Fact is Anderson is our only choice left... His defense if good... Is it AROW good? Thats debatable... But it's sure as a hell alot better then Scott Podsednik... or god forbid the overpaid overhyped Juan Peirre... He's not Juan P... and thats good enough for me to be honest... Brian Anderson or bust... I'm just glad we did trade AROW in a smart deal... and not just giving him away for crap we didn't need...

Believe it or not I actually like this deal... Yes I'll miss Rowand but i'll get over it... The fact is that we needed a big bat and KW got a big bat... I have no doubt he'll be healthy... However that being said Brian Anderson has to be the starting CF now... Juan Peirre sucks so bad and I would vomit in my throat to have his terrible defense in CF... It's irresponsible to not give Vegas a team... It's obvious the AL west desperately needs a new team... (a 4 team division, what a joke)... and it wouldn't hurt for attendance...

Could someone please answer me something... You have one guy who throughout his career has a floor of a .270 batting average.... has demonstated more consistancy across the board.... One guy falls asleep during most of the year, has a ceiling of about a .260 average so far... Keep in mind both of these guys play defense out of their minds... at very important positions where it's hard to find great defense... Now I can understand why the GM's would rather have player A. But do you honestly think player B has more value to this team... In a casual trade player B should be the one to go... Besides the fact he has health problems. Player A should only go in a deal for a top guy. A Delgado, Ichiro, hell even a Thome... but you don't give him away for crap like Pierre (who would make our defense instantly one of the worst in the league in the outfield, thats not even debatable)...

LOL of course we asked... We more then likely would of asked even if Ichrio were totally happy... Now hopefully we have one of those under the radar deals going here... Maybe Garland, Rowand, and a prospect maybe... *Drools*

What you don't seem to realize is I agree... We should trade Rowand if the right deal comes up... Right deal being only for a power bat... No other deal fits... The reason I got so pissed before was the thought of giving him away for pitching we didn't need... However you also have to admit that Anderson isn't guarunteed to out perform anybody... Crede is no lock to crack a .230 batting average... These guys aren't can't miss studs... Maybe i'm cynical but I don't think contending teams leave that many maybe's on the field and expect to win...

Some of you need to be beat over the head with the reality stick... Most of you want to get rid of Rowand... (because he sucks :banghead ) Keep Crede (because he's the greatest third basemen ever) and start Brian Anderson (who is a baseball God and can't hit less then .300 if he tried) It's more likely... We trade Rowand... he goes on to win a gold glove (especially if he's a Yankme)... Crede hits .250 next year if he's lucky... and Anderson somewhere in the .230-.240 range...

Wow Gary is only like 9th on that list... I'm glad I moved from there when I did... But I feel sorry for all of my family who still has to live there... It sucks...

Fact is that Anderson proved to be nothing special.. It's unfair to expect him to hit anything more the .240 in full time duty... However his defense isn't that horrible... That being said Pods shouldn't ever play CF... I mean he might not be as bad as Timo Perez but he still sucks it pretty hard...

Juan Peirre is a joke... We don't need a Pods clone... We sure as hell don't need his crappy defense in CF... Their are only two responsible options for next season... Rowand in CF... or Anderson in CF with Rowand traded for a big bat like Delgado (no other trade scenario is worth it) I just pray the Cubs get Juan Pierre to we can watch him lead them to another 4th place finish... I mean all those dropped balls and all... If we want a speedy CF with bad instincts and a noodle arm we might as well stick Willie Harris out there...

You guys are all basing your opinions on Gload being sure to be tendered a contract... But he obviously pissed some people off in this organizion... He's this off seasons Kelly Wunsch and I wouldn't be suprised at all to see him let go... The Sox have no real use for him... and it's hard to imagine Ozzie even wants him on the team considering how he was treated during the season...

I think that signing Piazza would be a great deal... However no way in hell I'd put him behind the plate... Ever... I'd rather sit Willie Harris back there... But as a DH, coming cheap.. I think it would be a good deal... Especially if we resign Frank and he's ready by midseason...
