Actually I should of perhaps been more clear... I refuse to put to much stock in someone who has never pitched above A ball... and I sure as heck aren't going to bash a trade for a superstar like Thome because some injury prone A ball kid that everyone here has a man crush on got traded for him... and i'll be totally honest... I didn't think much of BMAC for the same reason... he had never really pitched above A ball... However he stepped up huge in Spring Training and changed alot of people's minds... However thats the exception and not the rule... Until Gio does that then i'm not going to get excited about him...

If your talking about Jerry Owens then I think it's a bad idea... Honestly I'd rather they just put a guy like Chris Young out there and just let him figure it out as he goes along... I think most likely to play CF next year: 1) Anderson 2) Young 3) Owens 4) Harris At least those are the in house options...

Honestly at best he was just a mid season backup plan... I wish that JR and KW would sign him and let him rehab in the system... with the understanding that once healthy they will release or trade him if there isn't room for him by then...

Gio Gonzalez is an injury prone A baller... He's not CY young... and I refuse to be all broken up about him... In the short term this organization is better off without him, and is no worse off in the long term unless he becomes a CY Young pitcher which is about as likely as Willie Harris winning the triple crown next year... But don't worry there will be another mediocore pitching prospect to cream your pants over drafted soon...

If the right move comes around the White Sox would be stupid to not trade Crede... Back trouble, history of huge slumps during the season... Sure we'd be slightly less on defense but we would have a much more consistant bat... Besides that KW would be stupid to give him more then a 1 year contract since he hasn't proved he will ever hit more then .240 consistantly in the regular season...
