Why would we give up Brian Anderson and C. Lee though..,. It makes no sense. I don't want to bank our whole offense of Jermaine Dye and Scott Posednick.... Like I said aside from the trade I like it but no on that trade...

How do you think Perez would do in the cell? I remember last year everyone seemed to want Sidney Ponson and we dodged a huge bullet there. Do you think his ERA will inflate outside of Dodger Stadium? I wonder if thats why not many teams are talking about him.

I'm sorry but did you watch a single Sox game when Uribe was at SS and Harris was at 2B. They were getting to balls I had never seen anyone make it to and turning double play after double play. NOT TO MENTION THEY COST ABOUT 1 MIL COMBINED! I mean why in the hell wouldn't you want to utilize that. I'd rather have an outfielder to lead off and let Willie grow at 2B.

What we need to focus on in an outfielder is someone who can lead off... I still believe we could get the Yankees to pay loftons salary in full just for a couple of decent prospects since their farm system is dead. I mean i'll be the first to admit Lofton wouldn't be my first choice but free is free.

No way should we give that to a shortstop when we already have a great defensive infield in Uribe and Harris. We can sign a bullpen arm and a SP for that.

Trying to get this back on topic... I think that we are going to sign a FA starter but I don't it's someone as sought after as Pavano. I think we are more then likely going to get someone like Perez who really isn't getting much attention.
