You seem to be forgetting that we could get Luis without Milwakee being invovled... I mean the whole point is that they get Lee...they aren't getting anything from the Brewers...so just make it a 2 team trade.

Yet we'd still have Brian Anderson to come up when Pod disappoints the same people who are begging for him.

I want to win as much as anyone but I don't think Pod hitting .250 is going to go it for us...

The difference is one is still developing and has a good shot of growing into a solid player. The other one played way over his head one year and has regressed.

Don't get me wrong I think the C Lee for Castillo part of the trade is great... However to give up Anderson for a guy who hit .244 last year. I mean call me crazy but i'd rather have Willie learning CF and hitting .260 with a .340+ OBP then those pathetic Posednik numbers.

Pod isn't even worth Joe Borchard with a flordia prospect included if he's any good and thats saying something. To give up Anderson for him KW would have to be fired on the spot.

But why in the hell are we giving them Anderson... I mean Podsednik could be had for a lesser prospect...

The problem with that trade is that all Flordia is getting is C Lee... We are getting Castillo... So basically Flordia is giving them a prospect and we are sending our top prospect for a guy who might only hit about .250.... BAD TRADE!

Tell me about it... The trade would of had us fleeced big time. Wright would be great though...
