  1. Looked like a screwball for a strike
  2. Dont think this has been posted yet... All-Time Chicago White Sox Team: DH-Greg Lezinski C-Carlton Fisk 1B-Frank Thomas 2B-Eddie Collins SS-Luke Appling 3B-Robin Ventura LF-Shoeless Joe CF-Fielder Jones RF-Harold Baines SP-Ed Walsh SP-Ted Lyons SP-Billy Pierce SP-Red Faber RP-Hoyt Wilhelm Link
  3. Hmm, I would pull the trigger.
  4. I agree, is this a rotiserrie league?
  5. What the Twins are doin means s*** until we get on a hot 10 game winning streak.

I agree Borchard is far from major league material unless he figures out how to shorten his swing and cut down on those strikeouts. Bash me all you want, but for the time being, I think our best option in CF is still Aaron Rowand.
  7. I still aint believing it 'til we're 1 or 2 games back.
  8. We will go back to our normal ways: scoring 2 or 3 runs a game and then busting out with 10 runs once a week.
  9. I say keep Konerko until his trade value rises, then getting any decent shortstop prospect would be nice. I don't think we need any more power in our lineup, more of a guy with good defense and strong baseball fundamentals, for example Alex Cora. Obviously Beltran would be a perfect fit, but the chances of JR spending the money is slim to none. Im the type that is all about having a strong pitching staff. If your pitching is consistent, your offense is bound to turn around sometime. I really like Ponson and he is certainly having a great season, getting him would make our rotation that much stronger.
  10. I know your point was that Frank is having a good season, but comparing Frank to ARod is like comaring DLo to Soriano. ARod is the complete definition of an all-around player. He can hit for average, hit for power, drive in tons of runs, and is a Gold Glover year in and year out. The only reason hes not stealing at least 20 bases a season is that the Rangers wont risk getting him injured.
  11. Glad to hear you had fun
  12. www.candystand.com They always have some pretty good sport games there. Bullpen Blast and Home Run Rally are my favorite.
  13. Look for the Yanks to get some middle-relievers VERY soon. That Cubbie trio is looking great, might become as good as the Oakland trio in the near future.
  14. Too obsessed? Dont you realize that Heathers married to him?
  15. Looks like this wont work?
  16. Hopefully my avatar change can turn the season around
  17. Still 7 games under and 8 games back
  18. Frank is looking very giddy at first base. No doubt that its getting him into the game more. Hes been diving for balls, reaching for balls, and doing splits. I say keep him there while hes hot.
  19. Crede continues to hit in the series, went 3-4 with a solo shot. Big Hurt hit number 12. I liked what I saw, the guys hit to the right side with runners in scoring position and basically got 'em on, moved 'em over, and drove 'em in.
  20. I don't even see a game thread? Colon with a 4 hit complete game, and two of those hits were bogus. Only 87 pitches, 5 K's, he is definately learning how to pitch effectively and conservatively with his offspeed stuff and then blowing the fastball. Sox win
  21. Is now second in MLB in losses right behind Mike Maroth (who has his only win against us). We are a f***ing joke thats not hilarious. He'd probably take a million dollar salary cut just to beat it out of here.
  22. Hey Im surprised that we even got a hit.
  23. At this point, the only thing positive that I can say about this ballclub day in and day out is that we havent been no-hit yet.
  24. And Olivo is the player of the game for getting contact on that ball. 2-1 Final.
