  1. I do not even see a sig.
  2. Schowenweis will end up in their rotation and probally do alright for a while. Then his arm will just die on him and he will get rocked. He does not have the strength to last a full season as a starter. If hermanson had to, he could.
  3. Whoever they sign gets injured so i really do not care.
  4. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 07:06 PM) There's no way we sign TC and EC and another max player. After the year we are at 30 mil with TC and EC resigned we jump back to 55ish. He realized he was wrong on aim.
  5. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 06:49 PM) There is no point IMO for the Bulls to do anything, expect mabye trade 1 of Tyson/Eddie if they know there not going to resign them both next season. Other than that, as in trading young players to get better now, that would be stupid. I still think the Bulls are 1 year away from being legit, so I think they should just play it out. It will be interesting to see how Gordon, Deng, and Duhon hold up in late Feb. when the NBA grind starts kicking in...... Even if they resign both curry and chandler they will have enough money for a nearly max contract player. I am sure if the right player comes along they will spend the little bit more to get him. I see them keeping both of them, honestly.
  6. All that i know is they will not make a trade.
  7. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 06:23 PM) Why not give him a minor league deal like the Indians gave him? Or at least try? Because he has a better chance of making the indians than the white sox believe it or not.
  8. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 06:22 PM) Did you know Rod Beck was better than Koch last year? No he was not. He had a 6.38 era last year.
  9. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 06:20 PM) And what are Juna's career #s ? ... Just saying If the sox wanted to sign him it would have taken a guaranteed contract. You would be willing to give him one? I sure as hell know i would not.
  10. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 06:06 PM) So you rather bank on Rowand producing like last year (his first decent year ever) and Pod returning to his two year back form? Umm...ok whatever Rowand was a career .283 hitter coming into last season i believe. Just saying.
  11. After last nights game we are officially number one at holding oppenents to just a .414 fg percentage. We are also fifth in least amount of points allowed, 92.3
  12. QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 05:32 PM) The Indians worry me. If Juan Gone and Millwoood work out for them, they are going to be that much tougher. Plus, they have Aaron Boone now. Thank god they traded Lawton. Their bullpen still sucks and their rotation is medicore. They do have an excellent offense but that do not have all the pieces in my opinion to really contend.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 05:36 PM) It tracks mouse clicks. After 30 minutes of zero activity it takes you off the list. So each time you hit refresh you should be #1 on the list because you had the most recent click. It isn't just being logged in. I learned that from Southsider and Kap, they're my heroes Alright, thank you.

  15. QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 05:28 PM) I really liked Baldwin when he was here. Maybe it is just me but i do not like pitchers with an era over five in their career.
  16. Two people in your league?
  17. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 11:56 AM) Where any of these guys signed with the "Maggs money" Garcia and contreras were.
  18. QUOTE(quickman @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 11:21 AM) Who is this rashid guy? is this the same dude that knows beastly? 99% sure it is.
  19. QUOTE(LDF @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 02:14 AM) is he worth, with the number being divided into the yrs, what turns out to be 17 mil a yr???? No.

  22. QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 12:06 AM) Where did you find this at? I have been looking for the top 50 free agents on ESPN.com for some time and haven't been able to find it. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?p...50mlbfreeagents
  23. They got three right and they get paid for his? That does not seem very good.
  24. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 11:25 PM) That's stupid. Grr... The stubborness of some people absolutely piss me off so much! (Not you Rowand or Yasny, talking about Ozzie a bit here). Didn't Konerko strike out more than Lee? Gosh, did he make himself into such a complete player -- power, plate discipline, contact, and defense -- he improved himself in every year at one point in time with the Sox. And all we got was a journeyman CFer with one good season, and a solid reliever. A little frustrating, but as they say, life goes on... I feel your pain, i really do.
