  1. He starts every year of slow, nothing new.
  2. No one really understands why lue is not starting over ward. But they do seem to be more solid than alot were thinking.
  3. True, but i think he went from god like, to a mortal, faster than anyone has before. I mean when cub fans are booing you, it has gotten bad.
  4. That happens to a sox player and we would never ever hear the end of it. I don't care if it was timo perez we still would.
  5. Where is the guarantee that any player will stay injury free?
  6. Rowand is in the top 10-15 best players for the amount of money he is making. Not very wise to trade a player like that imo.
  7. Any pitcher that has a 0.86 g/f ratio in our park will get rocked. Because anything hit in the air has a chance to fly out.
  8. Konerko ranks dead last in zone rating. I am thinking for a first baseman zone rating is more important than range factor. I will agree with you that konerko is a top 3 1st baseman in the american league.
  9. Zito hardy has has 2 rough years. Anyway, does anyone think he will actually fare well here? His g/f ratio is terrible.
  10. He adapted to first base in an instant. By the start of the season he was already the best, travis lee would be close if not better though.
  11. I got that, but i don't think we were overated. Most predicted a 2nd or 3rd place finish for us, including myself. I predicted second place for the sox this year.
  12. There was also a big rumor valentin for guillen straight up. Now that we look back on it that would have been an excellent trade. But who ever knew guillen was gonna absolutely explode.
  13. It's got a nice ring to it. I actually get the information from another site before rotoworld.
  14. That would be the wisest choice. But who knows sometimes players do silly things. I highly doubt he can prove he is healthy in enough time to test free agency.
  15. Actually i do agree with them now that i think about it since there is no guarauntee that he will get that much in free agency.
  16. Nothing more has really been said other than this. But it is pretty old. Sep. 21, 2004 - 9:13 am et Eddie Guardado (shoulder) and Joel Pineiro (elbow) both had very positive throwing sessions yesterday. Neither experienced any problems throwing from flat ground from 60 feet. Both Guardado and Pineiro are slated to pitch in the Fall Instructional League in Arizona next month. Source: Seattle Times From rotoworld.
  17. The team option was for 6 million. His player option is 4 million and with all the possible incentives can be 4.5 million.
  18. He still does have a player option that he can accept, but that is not very likely.
  19. Per year? No, more like 3-4, 5 if someone really over pays for him. Since he does have some health problems.
  20. At least the dolphins made a game of it. 41-14 jets.
  21. Since typically a right fielder is suppose to have pretty good power numbers, all they would have to do is slide rowand over to right field. Then hairston would have power numbers comparable to the majority of center fielders in baseball.
  22. If the sox wanted to they could put him in center and move rowand over to right since hairston can play every outfield position.
  23. Hildago's, leskanic's, and guardado's options have been declined. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playernews.asp?sport=MLB
