  2. Game. On to game seven after a edmonds blast.
  3. I started a b**** fest but i do not have to go tonight i can make the draft.
  4. If we signed a closer why would we need a right handed set-up man? We would have shingo.
  5. I doubt in twenty years it will go up dramatically. Since it is already as old as it is. 100 year from now is a different story though.
  6. Not nearly as fun that way. That way it is basically an auto draft for me which is gay.I could do it at 9:15 if that was not too much of a problem.
  7. Like i said Dbaho i cannot do it today. So i will have to drop out so that you can get a replacement before it starts. Because i am leaving at 6:30.
  8. Ya, you are right i forgot about baltimore letting palmerio go. The o's are stupid if they after another big bat, their offense will be just fine with a smaller pick-up. They really need to address their pitching problems.
  9. Only really interested teams i think are gonna be the blue jays and the dodgers and if it comes down to them and it is a difference of 5-10 million dollars over the entire deal i think he would be willing to go back with the blue jays.
  10. Yankees will take an early lead and never look back. The final score will be 7-4 i am thinking.
  11. Oh i know i was just saying it to say it. The reds actually gave up the most home runs this year by the way.
  12. The reason we were .3 above average is because 7 of the top ten offensive teams are in the american league.
  13. Beleive it or notthe sox scored me runs this year than them. Thing is the sox will score 15 one game and 5 over the next 3.
  14. Conteras would be excellent so that we could free up some money. But from what i heard they are all about getting rid or players that make alot of money not the pther way around. There is no chance in hell they trade wells. If they do it is utter stupidity.
  15. Way too much, then we would have created 2 and a half holes .
  16. According to sporting weekly the rangers offered teixeira for wells straight up. But blue jays fans are saying that it may be the only deal that makes sense because they are both young and both have 3-4 years left on their contracts. Rios could go to center and gonzalez could fill in at first.
  17. http://www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/article.jsp?co...015_181411_1436 Report from Marty York (so take it with a grain of salt): Fans of the Toronto Blue Jays should not bid farewell to Carlos Delgado just yet. Jays' president Paul Godfrey told Sportsnet Friday that he and the agent for Delgado have started discussions and agree that there is a possibility the veteran slugger will re-sign with Toronto. "We (agent David Sloane and Godfrey) have decided to work closely together over the next few weeks to try and find an arrangement where Carlos can stay," Godfrey said. "There's a clear mutual interest in him staying here and not going elsewhere. But we have to work with the available dollars we have. I think there's definite interest on both sides." Godfrey does not usually get heavily involved in contract negotiations, leaving the responsibility to general manager J.P. Ricciardi. "But David Sloane and I are friends and have been for a while," Godfrey said. "And, also, I was very involved in Carlos' last contract negotiations." Delgado is at the end of a four-year, $68-million US contract. While some expect the first baseman will be too expensive for the Blue Jays to keep in Toronto, the team's payroll will be boosted slightly to $53 million for 2005. "J.P. is plugged in totally on these talks," Godfrey said. "He will be consulted by me. But I will handle them for the ball club."
  18. I do not think grilli has starter stuff but i think in a full year he could have a 5.70 era or less.
  19. Why would you say that buehrle does it and morris is probally a slightly better pitcher. Though he does lack the amount of innings pitched that buehrle pitches. I feel he will be one of the higher paid pitchers because of what he has done in the past. Been a 20 game winnerand never an era above 3.72 before this season. Teams will look at it like it was a fluke season because they know what he is capable of.

    Beltran

Look for the mets and giants to pursue him hard. Mets because they are extremely stupid with money and the giants because they could use protection for bonds.
  21. Basically leo mazzone can turn anyone into a 15-18 game winner i feel especially since garland has alot of talent. I cannot believe i just said that. But anyway leo mazzone is simply amazing.
  22. G/F this year 1.59 G/F in career 1.69 Whip this tear 1.29 Whip in career 1.27 Era this year 4.72 Era in career 3.53 Batting average against this year .266 Batting average against in career .259 K/9 this year 5.84 K/9 in career 6.60 K/BB this year 3.08 K/BB in career 2.34 I think he will bounce back regain his velocity and limit the home run total to under 25 and post a sub 4 era.
  23. I believe the chances of scoring on a lead-off walk is in the 70%-80% range.
