  1. I didn’t see the Bulls game last night, but I sure am glad to see that they won. Also read on the newspaper that Michael Jordan was present and got a loud standing ovation when he appeared on the jumbotron before the start of the fourth quarter.

    Films

Same here. I saw previews for it on TV and it looks phenomenal.

    Films

Depends on what kind of movie genre you most enjoy. Recent movies that I just watched are: To Kill A Mockingbird, Hero, and Alexander the Great. Today is the 20th (5 more days for Christmas) so the Christmas marathon of films begins at my home this evening.
  4. For those of you who have went to Deep River (located in Merrillville) may have noticed that there’s been construction going on. Are they expanding it or what, is my question every time I pass thru there. Well... they’re doing exactly that. Just take a look at this article. http://nwitimes.com/articles/2004/12/20/ne...f6f007b8ad2.txt For those of you who haven’t been to Deep River and are interested in learning more about this water park, check the website. http://deepriverwaterpark.com/
  5. I was at that game as well. If I'm not mistaking, that game was on the 23rd of May, which is the day of my birthday.
  6. Happy Birthday, Winning Ugly!!! Hope you have a good one.
  7. We got a lot of snow over the night here in Gary. Very windy. It's been calm since, but meteorologists say they expect us to get even more snow tonight.

    Reed

Wow.... the Mariners are already thinking about having Reed as their starting CF for the start of the 2005 season? Not only that but a #2 hitter! Damn... this kid will kick ass in his Major League career.
  9. You never know what you’re going to get when Contreras in on the mound. There are times when he can barely get out of the 1st inning and there are times when he completely dominates. He has some filthy stuff and hopefully he can do well in 2005.
  10. What about them? What I meant to say is that we need a guy like Clement (who is no longer a FA) or Odalis Perez. A SP that will move Contreras to the #4 spot and Garland to the #5 spot.
  11. 2005 looks awful. Not only do we need a #2 or #3 SP; we need a catcher and a second baseman. Too many holes to fill in just one single off-season. IMO, 2005 doesn’t look like our year. 2006 looks a bit brighter, that is if Crede and Garland give sign that they‘re improving.
  12. A Houston defense that is ranked 30th in the league vs. Chad Hutchinson and the Bears offensive line (ranked last in the NFL). The Bears only advantage is their home field and the chilly weather. It will be colder than what the guys down there (in Houston) are used to.
  13. Everybody’s eyes are pretty much on Odalis Perez, so what are the chances of the White Sox signing him? Overpay Kenny, I don’t care, but for once let’s have a solid starting rotation... please.
  14. s***... I don't know what the f*** KW is thinking about now that Clement is with the Red Sox. If only Kenny would do what you just said then I'll happily eat some crow... otherwise KW can f*** off.
  15. No Clement = Grilli Which eventually leads to another disappointing year
  16. f***ITY f*** f*** :headshake I just logged in and I see that we loose Clement to the f***ing Red Sox. GEEZ... I can see it now. Hermanson or Grilli as our 5th starter for next season. The f*** with 2005 if it's going to be that way.
  17. I just want to see the White Sox sign a good pitcher. Signing either Clement or Perez into this team would be good. If I had to decide which of the two I’d get, I would have to say Perez for the reason that he’s younger, his lifetime ERA is lower, and he’s a left-hander.
