Who will have the higher winning %
- Chip Carrey
Hell yeah! He always comes up with a new catch phrase each season. I’m wondering what he’ll think of next for the upcoming year.- Who will have the higher winning %
I am dying for basketball season to come. I’m going to say Bulls.- Shark Puts Bite Back Into B.O.
1.) Shark Tale $49,100,000 2.) Ladder 49 $22,785,000 3.) The Forgotten $12,000,000 4.) Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow $3,375,000 5.) Mr. 3000 $2,601,000 THIS WEEKEND Mr. July became Mr. October as Will Smith set a new opening weekend record for the fall month with the computer-animated hit Shark Tale which helped to put some bite back into a slumping box office. Also opening well was the firefighter drama Ladder 49 which placed second for the weekend. For the first time in seven weeks, the top ten films broke the $100M mark and for the first time in five weeks the marketplace powered ahead of last year. It was the weekend that exhibitors have desperately been waiting for.- Chip Carrey
I see... well I’m pretty much sure Cub fans are happy about this. I remember reading they didn’t even like hearing that buffoon.- Congrats Ichiro
Congratulations Ichiro!- Chip Carrey
Can someone please post a link confirming Chip is GAWN?- Astros call to the Rocket
Don’t even remind me. A good reason why I hate the White Sox organization.- Who are YOU Cheering for...
I really wanted the Cardinals to win the World Series but now I look at the Astros and pretty much am undecided. Houston wins the Wild Card (something not very easy to win) without Andy, but Roger Clemens and Roy Oswalt are the only positives that I can think of in their starting rotation for the playoffs. Then there’s Anaheim. There are some very good players that I enjoy watching and wouldn’t really mind to see them win it all. Boston is another good team. They once again win the Wild Card and have a real good chance of going deep again. 1918 is a long time ago (but 1917 is more!) so I’m going to have to wait and see my White Sox win the World Series first before the Red Sox do. New York Yankees.... :fyou Dodgers.... don’t really care about them. What I mean is that I wouldn’t like to see them go deep. My top two: Houston and St. Louis. Oh and Minnesota can go choke on something.- CONGRADULATIONS
The 2004 Houston Astros is a team to remember. They lose a very good pitcher (Andy Petite) but the men in that clubhouse react as if nothing happened. They go out there and win. They’re a very good example showing every team that got bit by the injury bug that you can still win without your best player. There is no best player because the whole team plays the game. Here's hoping Clemens and Oswalt can be wearing a World Series ring by the end of October.- Happy Birthday IlliniKrush
Happy Birthday, Illini! Hope you have a good one.- Siblings?

It’s a good thing we can trust on the Houston Astros. I wish the Astros the very best in the playoffs.- CUBS SEASON IS OVER!!!!
That's what happens when you make playoff tickets so damn early.- CUBS SEASON IS OVER!!!!
GAME OVER. Houston beats the Rockies by a score of 4-2. The Astros now have a 2 game lead in the Wild Card.- CUBS SEASON IS OVER!!!!
Houston is leading Colorado in the bottom of the 7th. The score is 4-2.- Steve Stone
Story If I ever see you Stone... I'll gladly buy you a drink or two.- santo's famous cry

- CUBS SEASON IS OVER!!!!
Things would be a lot different if the Cubs were to win 6 out of 6 from the Chicago White Sox. But no. The Sox took 2 out of 3 at the Cell and if the Cubs don’t make it to the playoffs than they may very well look back at the Cubs @ Sox series. Though that's just my opinion.- Amazing Tie Break Scenario
As long as the Cubs don't make it to the playoffs, I'll be a happy Sox fan.- CUBS LOSE!!!!!
Here are the pitching matchups for the Giants and Astros. Friday (Oct. 1) Colorado Rockies at Houston Astros J. Kennedy 9-6 3.62 ERA P. Munro 4-7 5.20 ERA San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers K. Rueter 8-12 4.81 ERA J. Weaver 13-12 4.01 ERA- So, I just got outbid on Ebay with 1 minute left..
It's people that like to put a higher bid in the very last seconds. Yes, it is very annoying knowing that you get excited because you're about to get an e-mail saying you're the winning bidder, but all of a sudden someone outbids you and you obviously lose. I'm usually one of those people who outbid the other at the last second.- CUBS LOSE!!!!!
