I’ll gladly eat my words and start cheering for the Marlins because the Padres don’t seem to have it right now since they’re facing the Cardinals. If that does happen than San Francisco has a very good chance of taking sole possession of 1st since they're going to face Arizona over the weekend.

Something tells me that Cotts will be our 5th starter for next year. He’s been kicking ass for some while but I sure as hell don’t want to see him in our starting rotation for next year. With the cheapness this organization can have, he may end up as a SP. Hopefully we’ll sign a good FA instead.

Hell na we don’t need Loaiza back. KW said so himself that he’s going after a good FA starting pitcher in the off season and I can assure you Loaiza is not even in his list of pitchers to acquire.

Now that would be sweet... but it’s not happening. Williams will sign a good FA starting pitcher in the off season but two good SP’s is asking for too much. I can see him getting some good bullpen help but can’t see Garland moving into the pen.

That’s exactly how I feel. And if he ever improves it’ll be when he’s pitching for a different team. I don’t know why, but something tells me he’ll be good once he leaves the White Sox.
