  1. I'm a little drunk(drinking is the only way to make going to these Sox games fun after all)so prepare for the over exaggerations. This team is just awful. This franchise is awful. -Robin Ventura, go the f*** away. You are one incredibly bad manager who almost makes me wish for the days of Ozzie Guillen. Almost. Thank you so much for not signing that extension. - Adam Dunn: You need to retire, you bum. You said you would if you ever had a season like two years ago. Here's your chance! Maybe Jim Thome has kept in shape. - Matt Thornton: How does an 8 year veteran make the mistake of trying to pick someone off second with 2 strikes? Oh, you have no confidence in youself? Don't worry, we have zero confidence in you too. -Jeff Keppinger: Utility man signed to be a key part of this team. Catch the fever. -Tyler Flowers: LOL at anyone who kept claiming he'd be competent this off-season. And LOL at me for almost believing you. -Front office: Just... I don't even know where to begin. This team still does have some parts, believe it or not. De Aza, Rios, Viciedo, Gillaspie, Sale, Peavy, Quintana, Danks(hopefully), SANTIAGO( free him, you idiots), Jones and Reed seem good enough to keep around and win some games. They just have next to nothing around them and it is pathetic.
  2. I got tickets Monday and Friday. I think I'm just going to burn them.
  3. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 10:51 PM) He's been awesome out of the pen. I say keep him there. We are 1-5 in games he pitches in. His value is a complete waste out of the pen.
  4. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 11:42 PM) Hector Santiago. 0-1, 0.00 ERA. He must love being on this team. One of the most talented players on an otherwise talentless team. So he's being held back too. Must REALLY love it.
  5. You really had to try hard to lose this game.
  6. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 10:32 PM) Again, not his fault. Keppinger is the last guy involved in that play to blame. You blame Alexei for the bad decision, then the bad throw, or you blame Robin for pulling Konerko. Kepp was put in a bad spot, both having to play 1st and getting a bad throw. I think we're on the same page.
  7. Santiago: 10.2 IP, 0.00 ERA Unleash him already.
  8. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 10:30 PM) Keppinger is not a 1B. Konerko may have picked that, Dunn may have even picked it, but it's an error in the SS for a reason, he threw it in the dirt. I agree, but he should not be playing 1b.
  9. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 11:27 PM) please, that's on the mental midget at SS Konerko makes that pick easyyyyyyy. And if not it's in front of him. Keppinger handled that as poorly as possible.
  10. Pinch hitting Konerko really paid off well.
  11. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 10:59 PM) Addison Reed and Santiago are the only ones left in the pen, right? This game better not go too deep in to extras.... Maybe Santiago's ability to pitch 6 innings will actually pay off for once in case this goes 16.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 10:25 PM) Attendance announced yet today? 73.
  13. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 08:17 PM) Few things: I'm very surprised that the man that lived in that house walked all the way to the boat, lifted the cover, and took a look to see if he was in there. There was blood, possibly clothing(?), a door open to the shed(?), and a string cut off the tarp...that would have been enough for me to go back inside and call police and be 99% sure it was related to him, even if he wasn't there. Instead he got out a ladder and looked? Wow. Yeah, I was very confused by this. Especially when you could just yell down the street for a cop. Also, what was the reward?
